Hiya!

I have these older books (the directory, low syn snacks and the free branded foods), have the values changes loads on EE since then?

I would say yes loads of things may have changed.

For example then tomato puree was synned it is now free.

yes it changes all the time. Even if you have a 2014 book there are probably a few things that have changed already!
