hi all im new to this and was just wondering what sausages others use to keep their syns down?

what are the lowest sausages?

also is there any packet rice that is free?:)

Heck chicken sausage are half a syn on extra easy if that helps - I use sainsbury be good ones frozen they are 1.5 and fresh they work out lower at 1 I believe x

I am veggie so obviously the ones I buy are too but all the meat eaters in my family love the Linda McCartney red onion and Rosemary ones. They are free too. Bonus. I have even converted both my dad and father in law. No-one saw that coming.

I am veggie too. So it's good to know they are free. Still struggling working out what Quorn/Veggie products are free!

I base a lot of meals around them :) they are my favourite veggie product, along with the Quorn grill steaks. If you look in the syns section somewhere there is a list of all the quorn stuff that's free :)

Morrison NuMe sausages are 1 syn each and are just as nice as ordinary sausages. They also do Cumberland style which are more seasoned if you like more spice/pepper. Quorn sausages are free and are quite nice.

Be aware that only the "low fat" quorn (box of 6 frozen) sausages are free. The standard ones are 1syn each. Flavoured varieties vary

theyll almost certainly be a local butcher who knocks up some very lean sausages. Ask at your local group. We have a couple and they do a roaring trade. They arent allowed to officially market them as syn free..

You like them? i found them quite poor. For those supermarket style sausages, definitely sainsburys and tesco, then weightwatchers. i found the NUME once quite awful.

im not a veggie, but as far as sausages go i dont eat anything other than the linda macartney red onion and rosemary jobbies.

lush and free.

Tesco do they own soya lincolnshire style sausages and they are 2.5 syns each xx best thing is they taste like the real thing too and are on offer at 2 for £3 at moment x
