How to find out syns?

Hi, I used to do SW and loved it and it worked for me. Last year I moved to Berlin/Germany and gosh their bread, sausages, cakes, ..... you know what´s coming now. I put all the weight back on and more. :sigh: I trying it out on my own, with the SW books but don´t know the syn values of the food here. Is there some kind of calculator that I could order/buy?

No, there isn't a calculator other than the one on the website (you'd need to be an on-line member for access)

Other than that there's a rule of thumb if there's no free food allowance - 20 calories = 1 syn.

What if there is free food? I am back on the sw diet. Trying to find syn's in diced beef that has over 5% fat content
