Had a good day today. Last day of Rabbit Awareness Week and I got to do two excellent consultations. The nurses are convinced that one of them saved a bunnies life. I wont go in to detail but he desperately needed some dental work done and he really wasn't very well. And we probably wouldn't have seen him if he hadn't of been booked in for a RAW consult! So felt awesome about that. And the guy was so lovely!
The other one I did were like A*** rabbit owners and we chatted a lot and they asked loads of questions and stuff. Just fantastic :D

Actually feel quite proud at being given the chance to co-run rabbit week and doing most of the consultations myself *blush* I REALLY want to get more involved with the education and welfare side of things. People are very much starting to notice tho. And I had a good chat with the nurse who is going to be my team leader soon and she is right behind me. As is my nurse friend who I picked to do rabbit week with.
So, who knows?! But I really would love to start moving along that sort of path, definitely. And I was called the rabbit specialist today by a nurse to a vet

I also got to leave work an hour early and use some lieu. Yay! I had a nice lunch and then took the dogs for some nice, chilled out strolling. Ended up being half an hour each, but we took our time. And with Pinta I did some training in the park and stuff, so that was good. And she actually only barked at one dog we saw! Two weren't very close, but that doesn't usually stop her, and one was going apesh*t in someone's porch and she just looked at him and then looked at me! Score :D I even got her past one dog with the cunning use of distraction and hiding behind a car for a few seconds - I'd run out of training treats! Nightmare !!! Lol. But we got past it.

This evening me, my sister, and some of our friends went to the Light Night Liverpool "festival". It was sort of like a giant arts festival spread across the city centre. And we got to take a very old bus down to the Pier Head :D We finished the night with a Monster Zoo puppet theatre thing, which was absolutely brilliant. We had tea out, but relatively healthy :) I have gone over my Hex's a little, but will just wipe out todays syns just to be safe. xx

Well done on all the steps, walking and swimming :D wish I could pluck up the guts to go swimming.
Loving all the walks you're going on, you're going to some beautiful places.
Sounds like you're doing well at work too, well done on RAW it doesn't surprise me at all someone called you a bunny expert :)
You're sounding like you're in a good place at the moment, happier and brighter, I hope this is the case you deserve it :D
Your food sounds amazing as well, you're certainly on plan at the minute.
Hope you're having a good weekend x x x

Hey Barbette!
Lovely to see you :D

Yeah things seem to be generally good at the moment erally. And I have been pushing myself the last few weeks. I think my ME therapist would be impressed, but also a little horrified of my Fitbit stats lol! BUT I haven't had any super serious payback. I mean, I've felt it, oh my God I've felt it, but not to the point of having to stay at home or not being able to cope. Swimming definitely made my arms and legs wibbly and I was quite weak the day after, but again, not so bad I couldn't deal with it. It's such hard work reconditioning your body isn't it?!!
I damn well earned that 1.5lb off this week. Well, in all honesty, I deserved WAY more ;) But I did have a day off plan and a relaxed day last weekend, which would have normally got me a big gain, so I'm good with that loss.
What originally got me swimming, and I was much bigger than I was now, was that I realised no one really cares. And once you're in the water people can only really see your head. Honestly, no one gives a crap! And they're probably too worried about what they look like than what you look like. Promise :) But one of the good things about where I've decided to go swimming is that it seems to be very quite in the day time, which is great!

Very much slower day today and nowhere near the steps I've been doing. I nipped to Speke Retail this afternoon to pick up my M&S order (they didn't fit :( ) and to go to Pets At Home for a few bits. Tim and Caz met me and we went to Starbucks for their happy hour frappacino offer :D And then I went back to theirs for an hour to meet their new hound. Who is a super handsome, very big Greyhound. He made me want a grey even more than I already did. Maybe a 3rd dog when Pinta is less mental ;) He's very nervous so I didn't do much with him. I said hello, mostly ignored him, looked away when he came over, and just let him sniff me. He did get a very quick scratch on the head before I left tho :) He's lovely! Very gentle and just needs a bit of time. He's a young ex-racer, so doesn't know how to live in a house with a family and other dogs. But he's doing very well! Dave will look like a Chihuahua next to him!! LOL
No doggy walks today. I didn't really have time and we all needed a rest day I reckon. Dave's being borrowed tomorrow by Rachelle and John so I'll do something with Pinta.

I'm proud of what I achieved this week with RAW! I reckon we can do better next year ;) And I'm glad people are noticing and I have nurses on my side who want to help me get where I want to be. Exciting if it works out!

Out to tea tonight for my friends belated leaving meal. We went to Ego, a Mediterranean restaurant. I skipped the starter and had halloumi kebab - which was halloumi, red onion, courgette, and peppers on a skewer. And it came with tabouleh, tzatziki, tomato salssa, and two soft tortillas.
And I had a side of skin on fries ;)
For dessert I had a disappointingly small portion of Tiramisu :p
And for drinks I just had diet Coke, water, and black coffee.
So I was pretty good I reckon lol! Not even nibbling on stuff now that I'm home. Just a decaff coffee and bed :D

I had lunch at home as well, to try and limit syns. Decided on a green day, but guess it doesn't really matter?
I had free Linda M sausages, egg mayo (0.5), a big mixed leaf side salad with peppers & beetroot, a little bit of cheese (HexA)and a chunky slice of wholemeal bread (HexB )

A good day! Stuff and food-wise really :) xx

Oh and yes, I'm amazed at how beautiful the places we're been visiting are. Lots more to come I think :) It's great how many lovely places there are close to home, we're very lucky here. But even the likes of Parkgate was only 45mins away!
And we're going to rent the field at the dog training place for a bit next week and try to mix Pinta with Tim & Caz's dogs. I think I'll just take her this time and then see if we can do it again with Dave there too - she's a billion times more crazy when Dave is with her! So might be sensible to just take her first and then work on them both being together (I have a plan!), and then reintroduce again when she is happy with Dave on a walk/outside too.

Having a bit of a relaxed food day today :) Nothing crazy, just a bit chilled out.
Also having a quiet-ish day. But I have cleaned the bunnies and had them out in the garden run. De-poo'd the garden.
Mum came with me to walk Pinta and she carried the Flexi lead for me (I never have enough hands!) and we put her on it when the parks were free or we had enough space. She was so happy running round. But she kept coming back and checking in with me and came back everytime I asked her too. Promising! She did bark at everything we saw today, but she was so excited and hyped up I'm not really surprised. But she listened and came to me and did what I asked :) We were out for 50mins and went in two parks and up on the trail.
Dave was borrowed by Rachelle and John today and met my lot in Delamere forest for a good walk around. He came back clean, but decided to roll in the disgusting stuff I'd emptied from the paddling pool, so I took him upstairs and had him in the shower - I miss having a bath!! And then I decided to try with Pinta. She did hate it, but was really good and got so excited when I let her out and was drying her off with the towel and giving her a fuss! They both got Lush showers, Dave got Ponche and Pinta got Rose Jam. Posh doggies ;)

So a sort of quiet day, but not a sitting doing nothing kinda day :) xx

Pinta absolutely rocked her class tonight! My friend Martin was there with his lunatic of a dog, Daisy. I love Daisy, a proper crazy Jack Russel! There was lots of barking from both sides, but we stayed close and walked by her and moved away and went back. After the big circle where we all sh*t ourselves and have to weave our dogs in and out of the other dogs/keep our dogs focused while they weave around, we got separated in to different groups. We were with the same people as last week - YAY for the giant Leonberger puppy!!
This week we were doing sit & lie down stays. I have been doing this at home with Pinta for quite a while now, but obviously not surrounded by other dogs and in a freezing cold field ;) But she did SO well!! As if the dogs and people weren't enough, we did extra things, including at one point me turning completely away from her, walking around her in a horseshoe shape, and walking backwards and forwards and doing daft things, and she was near on PERFECT! At one point she just stayed lying down and didn't get up even when I gave her the treats, BUT I didn't ask her to get up, so she was right lol. Honestly, she worked so hard tonight and was absolutely fantastic!
We met back up with Daisy and Martin afterwards and there was less barking and they even managed to look at each other a few times without barking! Martin put Daisy in her dog crate and we tried to get Pinta to jump in to the space next to it in the boot. She eventually got her paws up and leaned in, but that was as far as we were going. Martin asked us to come back but I said she'd done more than enough and it wasn't fair to push her anymore.
Me and Pinta stopped at our local park and I put her on a Flexi. We spent 15mins running, jumping, generally messing about in the park and having fun. I've put a video on FB, just to show how happy and confident she is! But I will share a couple of pics on here in a min.
Very proud of her :)

Before I took Pinta I took Davey for a walk. It was supposed to be a quick-ish walk and we ended up being out for an hour and covering almost 3 miles. Oooops! Lol! We walkedd in to Gateacre Village, through a small park, and up on to the trail, eventually getting to the park closest to my house. Was good :D

A good day all round I think! I had an awful night and must have had about 3hrs sleep! But work went quickly, mainly because I was in every bloody section, but at least it meant the time went a bit quicker. In for 4hrs tomorrow and then going swimming. YAY! xx

Busy, busy day today! Another early shift at work, but finished at 12. I went swimming again :D And I am entitled to the poor person's card, so signed up. It cost £6.50 and lasts 6 months and gets me 40% discount! Will come in handy ;) I swam two extra laps today in the 30mins. I ate more before going this time, but was really wobbly when I got out. Very lightheaded and I almost felt drunk. Didn't last too long tho, thankfully. But, other than that, it was brilliant :D I forgot just how much I love swimming!
I got home and grabbed a quick lunch - tuna left from yesterday with pasta and salad.
I then took Pinta to the training place to introduce her to Tim & Caz's (now) 3 dogs. We hired the huge training field for 30mins. It didn't go as well as I'd hoped, but realistically she did very well. Their dogs are amazing and just don't react to anything, Greyhounds for you, even Mort was very well behaved! We did a few laps and I did some distraction work with her. In the end we were walking pretty close to all of them, only a few paces away. But she barked a LOT and got "stuck" in the barking behaviour quite a lot. But, could have been worse! Hopefully going to do it again some time soon.
I am thinking of hiring the field every so often just to take Dave and Pinta for a proper run off lead. I obv can't trust Pinta off-lead yet and Davey's recall is TERRIBLE if there is a dog or something that looks like a dog. He just switches off and runs. So would be nice to take them somewhere big and secure for them to just go nuts in. Would be fun I think :D
I got home and took Dave for a decent walk, 35mins/1.65 miles.

I quickly wrapped Tim's birthday presents and they came to pick me up. Quick stop at Asda and then to get our takeaway - Indian, YAY! And we sat in theirs with their dogs just catching up and chatting and watching daft stuff. Such a nice, relaxing night! And time to talk to them without other people being there. Very nice and relaxed. Naughty, naughty food, and beer, and a KitKat LOL! Hoping all the walking and swimming will help a bit. Shouldn't be anything else off plan this week. Apart from me being super poor, I'm working all of the bank holiday weekend - 31hrs in 3 days! But I have bought two Brewdog beers for Monday night, if I survive LOL!

Just watching Ghost Hunters and then going to bed. Bloody knackered, but what a good day!! x

Ooops! Gone over my syns by 7 AND had a green day. Silly Kelly :(

Also had a much quieter day today. I didn't set my Fitbit for sleep last night, but as far as I know I only woke up once thru the night and slept thru till 2:30!! Thank Gods, I really, really needed that!
Today I sat around watching tv for most of the afternoon, with some short dog training sessions. I sorted out the bunnies and then went to see Pitch Perfect 2 with Rachelle and her friend. It was SO good :D

And that's about it really. About time I had a quiet day really! xx

After having a perfect EE lunch I have been very silly and had pic & mix at the cinema. Don't know what is wrong with me this week. Feel like such an eejit!! Anyway, will just have a good SW tea and forget it and carry on.

Good stuff tho. I had a nice walk with Pinta today. We went to one of the local parks. And even though she had a very friendly dog desperately trying to make friends with her, she coped quite well. She went mental but by the time her owner got to us, and then insisted on having a chat, she sat next to me, eyes on me and shut up for a bit. We managed to get away and carry on with the walk with no issues :)
25mins/1 mile

Had a super lovely walk with Dave tho. We went to Caz's house and went on a walk with her, Mort, and Dante (Lulu was in the vets having her teeth made sparkly and having a few little lumps whipped off) around the grounds of Speke Hall, down to the river and along the coastal path - Dave even followed Mort in to a pond, only up to his ankles, but that's quite brave for him ;) - through the grounds, and then through a small woodland. Was lovely :D
That was 1hr43 / 3.16 miles.

Then I met Mum after work, got some stuff for the rabbits, and went to see Mad Max. Which is absolutely mental, but brilliant. Absolutely loved it!!! xx

I don't know what's wrong with me this week. I'm REALLY hungry! No matter what I eat I'm not full or happy. Very odd!

But I have had an on-plan day today. Ok, it was a green day - used 1 HexA + 2 HexB's. And I used 12.5 syns :/

Had a very busy day as well today. I have ....

Walked both dogs - 1hr40mins / 4 miles between them.
Big bunny clean and a garage tidy.
Did some washing and put it out
De-poo'd the garden
Tided, cleaned, and hoovered the living room and kitchen
Made tea for tonight and lunch for tomorrow - bolognaise :D
Emptied all the bins
And had a very nice, MUCH needed shower ;)

Working ALL this bank holiday. 8-6:30 Sat & Sun and 10-8 on Mon *sigh* Already very tired. Didn't sleep very well last night and had a pretty full on week. Just hope I can get some rest tonight.
Not sure if I'll get a chance to do a proper food diary, but will try and keep track of syns and stuff.

Hope everyone has much nicer bank holiday weekends than me.xx
