I've had some ok success on Slimming World this time around, and have started going to the gym almost every day. I've been given a program by a PT in the gym, and she has suggested protein shakes after exercising, to help recover.
I've looked around at them, but there's just SO MANY! My main goal is ultimately weight loss, while building fitness along the way, but as SW isn't doing as much for me as it did before, I'm kinda phasing in healthy eating rather than strict SW. I just don't know what protein shakes I should be looking for to complement my gym usage. A lot of the 'shakes for women' seem to focus on weight loss as a meal replacement thing, rather than an after-exercise thing.
I just don't know where to start when it comes to protein shakes. Is it even worth looking at dedicated meal replacement ones, or just use another type as both post-exercise and meal replacement?
So confused by it all!
