Food Diary - Where am I Going Wrong? Help Needed... :) Red & Green Days X

Your food looks good. It is rare to see butter on diaries on here. I have forgotten what it taste like;

Have also made a note of your soup. Do you blitz it after cooking?

The butter was naughty and probably not the best thing to do the day before weigh in but i ran out of laughing cow triangles! Haha.

And yes hun I do, I cook it all up in stock and once done, wizz it up till smooth and then stirr in some quork. It turned out really nice, I like mine with a kick so was quite heavy on the pepper, but turned out well xx

I lost 4lb :) Woohoo! I'm really pleased.

Takes me to -11.5lbs in 5 weeks.

Going for the stone next week! :) xxx
 
19th February - Green Day

Hi everyone, hope your ok :)

Breakfast -
2 Weektabix - Healthy Extra B
Almond Milk - Healthy Extra A
Tesco stevia sweetener - Free
2 large green tea with fresh lemon

Lunch -
Bachelors Pasta N Sauce - Chicken and Mushroom - Free
Small knob of butter - 2 syns
1 slice of bread - 6.5 syns

Snack -
Small bowl of Home made soup - sweet potato / peppers / red onion / carrots. Seasoning and mixed in a bit of quark to make it creamier - Free

Dinner -
2 Egg omelette.
Small grating of cheese - Healthy A
Lots of mushrooms
Half a can of healthy beans
2 quorn sausages - 2 syns

Drinks -
1.5 litre's of plain water.
2 large green tea with fresh lemon

Syns -
Small knob of butter - 2 syns
1 slice of bread - 6.5 syns ( It was white so will syn this )
2 quorn sausages - 2 syns
1 kinda bar - 2.5 syns
= 13 syns.

Been having quite high syns this week, so going to make it a mission to make it 10 syns max this week and going to try increasing the exercise too, I don't have much time but will fit in what I can. Really want the stone next week, so here I go :) .. xx

Oh thank you! I am really pleased :) Going for the 2.5lb's this week to try and hit the stone, fingers crossed. Glad its giving you some idea's, we all need some inspiration with food don't we, can all get a bit dull! Good luck to you xx

Tesco stevia sweetener - Free
2 large green tea with fresh lemon

Lunch -
2 small jacket potatoes - Free
2 light laughing cow triangles - Healthy A
Salad with cucumber, peppers, lettuce, red onion and carrot - Free
Slimming World Chilli - Free -
Made with mixed peppers, red onion, 1 can of tomatoes, 1 can of Heinz five beans. Cooked down with salt, pepper, piri piri seasoning, smoked paprika and chilli. ( This will make 2 - 3 portions :) )

Dinner -
Half a pack of Macaroni Pasta N Sauce - 1.5 syns

Desert -
Sugar Free jelly - 1.5 syns
Half a pack of Macaroni Pasta N Sauce - 1.5 syns
Kinda Bar - 3.5 syns
=6.5 syns

Drinks -
750ml of plain water.
3 large green tea's with fresh lemon

Syns -
Sugar Free jelly - 1.5 syns

Wasn't to well today so didn't eat much sadly, going to stuff my face today though haha xx

( We ordered a chinese... )
1 boiled rice - Free
1 vegetables in black bean sauce - I cant find the syns on this one but the chicken in black bean sauce is 5 syns, so i will go with that.
It had broccoli, water chestnuts, onions, carrot, mushrooms, bean sprouts, peppers - 5 syns

Desert -
Sugar Free jelly - 1.5 syns

Drinks -
750ml of plain water.
3 large green tea's with fresh lemon

Syns -
Sugar Free jelly - 1.5 syns
vegetables in black bean sauce - 5 syns
= 6.5 syns

My syns are the same as yesterday, but i have deep guilt for having a chinese? Haha. I couldn't find the syns of the vegetables in black bean sauce anywhere, so hopefully it is just the 5 like i counted for.

I haven't had a takeaway in 5 weeks and I still feel like im being really good? I mean I have spent 7 syns on a chocolate bar before, so I shouldnt feel so bad for spending 5 on food. Im an over thinker can you tell? Haha.

I did do 45 minutes of walking with the dog today as well, so hopefully that will counteract any badness! Lol

You have some will power to just order that for a chinese, I would of caved the minute I see chicken balls on the menu lol. Is sugar free jelly nice? I want to make a trifle as I can't have the work one on a sunday!

Haha it took every bit of will power i have not to order something crispy!

The jelly is really nice, my boyfriend who eats sugar free nothing tried it for the first time yesterday and said you couldn't tell it was sugar free at all, and when made up the 1 sachet is quite a lot so at least you think your getting something substantial for pudding xx

Sugar Free jelly - 1.5 syns
kinder bar 3.5 syns
Cajun spices - 1.5 syns
Extra 35g of Philly - 1.5 syns
= 8 syns

Having a good day :) Got the shopping coming tomorrow and I cant wait! Going to try and do some red days this week with some speed soup too to try and give myself an extra boost to make sure i get the 2.5lbs :)

Also feeling proud, haven't gone over 10 syns since Thursday, so sticking to my plan for this week so far!

Early Dinner -

Dry egg noodles - Free
Stir fry sauce - 3 syns

Planned Evening Snack -
2 weetabix - Healthy B
Almond Milk - Healthy A

Drinks -
1.5 litre of plain water.
1 large green tea's with fresh lemon

Syns -
2 quorn sausages - 2 syns
1 tablespoon of brown sauce - 1 syn
Stir fry sauce - 3 syns
Half a Viennese whirl - 3.5 syns
= 9.5 syns

I could of happily picked up a bottle of wine and a chocolate cake today, very proud I haven't done haha. Hope your all having a good slimming day xx
