Hi,
I'm hoping someone can answer a question I have.
I'm new to slimming world and doing it online - this is Day 6. So far I'm doing a mix of EE and Green.
I'm a bit confused about what to do if I make deserts at home.
I understand that if I buy a rice pudding from a shop I can't count the rice in it as free food because it's a pudding.
If I make rice pudding at home with rice, an egg and my HEA milk allowance can I just syn the sugar/rasins or whatever I add or do I count up and syn the entire cumulative calories?
Both feel wrong to me because in the first one I feel like I'm cheating somehow, and in the second counting up the calories in a complex baked item with free foods seems contrary to the vibe of slimming world.
Also, if I made an apple tart for example...the apples would be syn'd as cooked apples...but how on earth would I know the weight?
Many Thanks,
Laura
