A few weeks ago, I found a big lump in my chest, just above the breast. It's about as big as a cocktail sausage, and I hadn't noticed it before. I think it's getting bigger.
I don't know if I only noticed it now because it was covered up with fat before, or whether it's new.
I went to the doctor and expected him to say that it's nothing, just a muscle knot or something.
But he said it's definitely a big lump in the actual breast tissue (not chest) and has referred me to the breast clinic for a biopsy or a scan.
I know that even though I have a strong family history of breast cancer, the odds of me developing it, aged 24, are very low, but I can't help worrying!
:sigh:
Just wanted to get that off my chest (no pun intended...!)
