Had a nice BBQ for mothers day yesterday and managed to stay at 14 syns for the whole day so was pleased. Todays menu is as follows:

L - WW wholemeal pitta bread (HEB), Tesco healthy living bulgar wheat and lentil pot (1.5 syns), pickled cabbage, Hartleys mango and passionfruit 10 cal jelly (half a syn) and a Heinz five beanz snap pot
S - Sliced strawberries
D - Vegg carbonara (spaghetti, vegg - 1 syn, 30g soya cheese - 4.5 syns, 3 slices Redwood cheatin' bacon - 1.5 syns)
Dessert - chocolate pot (silken tofu, sweetener, vanilla extract and 7.5g cocoa powder - 1.5 syns)

It is! The stuff they sell in Chinese supermarkets (mock duck/chicken/pork/abalone) is also free!

Not been so good at updating the last few days, we've had quite a few meals out this week with another one planned over Easter (as well as dairy free eggs!) but am continuing to do plenty of hula hooping with my weighted hoop so hoping that the damage will be minimal!

The last week has seen lots of eating out plus Easter and I have a course in a couple of days that is catered so I'm not sticking to plan too great at the moment! Will get back on the wagon from next Monday properly.
 
Hi, I have been reading your thread, I too became vegan on 24/6/13! After 25 years of being vegetarian. I have lost a stone in that time but not really done anything to loose it other than being vegan.

I have a trip coming up in Nov to Japan and want to loose 2 stone and be healthier/fitter by then. I used to go to SW when I lived in England but after emigrating to Australia where there are no classes I stopped following it.

I want to do it again but being vegan and living in Australia May prove difficult in terms of Syn values etc. any help/guidance you could provide would be very welcomed ☺️
