Thanks, Sharon! I'm sure you now see what I mean about not updating it, lol. I started it the day I had my knee op, and had lots of time on my hands and things to write. Now I do a lot of posting on other people's threads (up to about 1,300 posts now, I think) but not so much on their. I see you now have a photo on your profile, very nice! To get badges I think you need to be on the full website version and go into the settings, at least that's how I got my Century badge on there. I know loads of people have SW badges on, so you must be able to get them. :) xx

Thank you :). Sticky chicken drumsticks (recipe in current SW mag) were yummy and a hit with the whole family yesterday at the bbq. Homemade burgers were also a hit and the babybel light in the centre at 2 syns worked really well and everyone wants me to make them again. Risotto with sweet potatoes, peas and green beans turned out good too - the first time I've made risotto but will definitely be making some more - so mang different types of risotto in the various recipe books. We also has some Linda McCartney rosemary and red onion sausages - FREE :) This week I'm also cooking Malaysian red pepper and chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken with noodles from the Asian SW cook book do I'll let everyone know how they turn out. So many recipes to try - being on plan is making me cook more variety than when not dieting so going down a treat with the family. My cupboard is now full of a multitude of herbs and spices - shame they leap out and attack me when I open the cupboard door though lol - ok I need to re-organise my cupboards. :)

Oooo that Malaysian Red Pepper Curry is totally nom nom :). Had a little left so yum yum lunch for work tomorrow. :). SW Asian cook book and highly recommend it. Lovely walk on one of our lovely beaches and a glass of red wine (syns counted) whilst watching the waves break on the shore - pub right on the beach. Perfect end to the Bank holiday weekend before it's back to the hamster wheel of work tomorrow.

Oh, you live in Cornwall, how lovely! I've never been to that part of the country - I live in North Staffordshire, so North wales is our go-to coastal area. :) I hope you've had a lovely day. I've been back on the straight and narrow today, after a weekend where I allowed myself a few naughty treats. :) xx

Sometimes it 's good to have treats and really helps re-focus then without feeling hard done by - treats are very important Mine was my glass of red wine today :). Your weight loss is amazing Tracey. I've put a target aim as a rough guide at the mo as it's been so long since I've even been close to that It's hard to know what I'll feel like then but maybe half a stone or so lighter depending. It's great seeing others have done it. My husband has never known me at that weight as met him 8 years ago and I've not been down to that weight in over 20 years. It's a real inspiration seeing people like yourself who have done so well so thank you for buddying me - you have permission to kick my butt if I falter :)

Thank you, Sharon! I'e derived so much support and motivation from people on this site, so it's nice to be in a position to cheer on others. :) I agree with you about treats, I don't believe in any diet that deprives you, which is why I like calorie counting, and I know SW is similar because you have your allowance of syns. I hope you've had a nice weekend. We haven't done much (well, apart from Kathryn who's been having sleepovers, shopping trips etc!), but I've had a nice chill out. :) xx

Hmm typical - viral illness taken hold. so I'm off work and quite achy. Have some Asian chicken sweet and sour already boxed for lunch today (was ready to take to work) and some fresh pineapple. Planned chilli for tea so quite easy to throw in the pan and leave to it's own devices to a point - wil save small, portion for tomorrow's lunch as before this week been doing mainly pasta, salad, ham and needed a change (*note to self sort out some lunch ideas that are quick for work). Already started planning shopping list for next week and from the SW Asian cookbook going to try lemon chicken, beef in black bean and Kung pao chicken. Helps to think about menus for next week so I can shop for it. Might do a turkey risotto too - nice recipe on SW website for that. Then recycle some of the other menu options we've already done for the other days ie burgers and Cajun wedges, sticky chicken and maybe a Sunday roast :). So many recipes to try and hey does this sound like a diet! Healthy eating and we're having more meal variety than before I started Slimming World. Guess I should check the weather though as would much prefer BBQ on Sunday if the sun is shining.....will this sunshine last- it's been such a long winter and our summer last year was not good - need the a vitamin D and the sun rays on my skin :)

Oh dear, sorry you're not well. :( All your food sounds great! I don't think the weather's going to stay good, not round here anyway but it may be different for you. :) xx

Well on the plus side I'm snuggled up with minimins, SW books and debating on start reading my novel that I bought a few weeks back :). Thankfully ibuprofen don't count as syns lol. Weather forecast doesn't look great and hubby not keen on BBQ idea due to that so turkey risotto with sesame sticky chicken and salad for Sunday it is then - fancying something different from roast :) My diary is beginning to sound like someone with a food obsession :)

It's just dawned on me today re being careful with mince meats ie value beef mince 100g 6.5 (waitrose one) so you can soon sabotage your syns without realising otherwise :( SW book says less than 5% fat is free, less than 12% 100g is 2, less than 20% fat 100g is 6 and more than 20% fat is 9! These are raw weights. Ie saving money on the shopping can cost us in syns unless we are aware and count it. There are vales in the book for pork and turkey mince too if it's not lean so do check. Of course it may only be me that's made this faux pas but so glad I've now realised - only as I'm not at work today I've seen it - oops. Anyhow weigh in later so the scales will tell but need to watch this in future!
