Is Weight Watchers or Slimming World the one for me?

I started just just over a year ago with herbalife - two meal replacement shakes per day, and lost reasonably steadily until Christmas. Since that time I have not lost any more. I have looked at and tried a couple of alternatives, but am not 100% happy.
I would like to lose another stone. I have joined the gym and intend following an exercise plan, going twice a week plus adding an exercise class later when I have increased my stamina. I walk quite a bit now and will continue that.
both WW and SW have meetings that I can attend on the way home from work, so either would be convenient.

Looking at the two plans I am thinking that WW will fit in better with my lifestyle. I enjoy an occasional takeaway meal - Normally I would buy two different dishes, but it would actually make three meals as I would freeze two portions for a later date. I often will spend the weekend visiting relatives and so have no control over the meal choices. I prefer not to eat beef, lamb or fish.
i am enjoying having Oat so Simple made with almond milk for breakfasts at the moment and would like to continue with that. Lunches need to be something that can be taken into work - no canteen, just a kettle, toaster and microwave. I don't really want to spend a lot of time making breakfast and lunch (which is why the shakes were ideal for me) but I know that I need to do something different to start the weight loss again.
I have looked at both SW and WW websites, but would appreciate if someone can point out the benefits of either or both, so that I can make a decision.

Thanks

Hi there
Welcome to the WW forum :)
I have done SW in the past successfully and I lost the weight for my wedding. I am very new to WW though so I am still learning a lot about the plan myself but so far it is fitting in much better with my lifestyle than SW.
WW now have this new plan called Filling & Healthy as well as the usual counting ProPoints days that you can do as well.

At the moment I love the freedom of F&H, because the free food list is so huge and there are many foods on the list which I couldn't have on SW which is why I love the change so far.
I also like the fact for ease you also have the WW products to fall back on in emergencies or if you need something quick.
I like now how I don't have too much to think about. It is just about the free foods and your ProPoints allowance for the week. On SW I must admit I got sick to death of thinking about free food, super free food, healthy extra a, healthy extra b choices, syns and then the tweaks to foods that people use to go on about lol.
I am not saying that SW didn't work because it did but for me I needed change :)

I made this thread to explain the plan if you want to check it out and see what you think. Also WW have an offer on at the moment where the first month is only £10, you get to go to a meeting as well as use their fantastic app and esource to log all your progress and food diary.

Good luck with whichever plan you decide on hun and let us know how you get on.
