Im getting married and I want to be SLIM!

Hi,

I got engaged on Christmas Eve! :)

I want to get married before the summer time, and really want to be slim, so that I can start my new life feeling happy and healthy.

I weighed in yesterday and was 7 pounds heavier than I thought I was.

My starting weight is 156 pounds.
I want to get to 116 pounds.

Thats 42 pounds to lose, and I am hoping to do this in 9 or 10 weeks.

I am following a Total Food Replacement Plan called New You Diet. This works the same as lipotrim, cambrigde, lighter life, exante etc. You simply take 3-4 products per day and watch the weight drop off!

I really want to get married before the summer time, so this diary will progress my weight loss and also the events that take me to get married!

I am looking forward to the journey and finding out what the next 6 months has in store for me! :)

I started the diet yesterday....

Breakfast: Chocolate Bar
Lunch: Strawberry Shake
Tea: Irish Stew Meal
Snack: Sour cream and onion snacks

I felt very cold and tired yesterday so went to bed really early and slept like a log!

I also feel very sore today as I actually went on a Vibrostation for the first time yesterday. I was only on it for 5 mins!!! I cant believe how sore I am. I will be using this everyday to get toned up.

I am now on Day 2 of the diet. It is very cold, there is snow everywhere, and I do feel a little tired and sore from the vibrostation! I think Im going to get ultra toned and slim using the New You diet and also the vibrostation!! :)

My Menu today so far is...

Breakfast: Strawberry Wafer (yummy!)
Lunch: Cream of Onion Soup with Croutons (needed something warm! and it was actually very nice soup!)

I have been drinking water, but really need to drink a little more and also had a few black coffees.

what made you go with this tfr instead of the others you mentioned?

hey xox

what made you go with this tfr instead of the others you mentioned?

h xx

The first time I did TFR I went with lipotrim, and I did this for 13 weeks, and got from BMI 31 to BMI 21. I loved the results on lipotrim, but I think the range of products is very limited and I dont like the maintenance products.

Cambridge diet is just too much of a hassle for me. The counsellor is a 2 hour round trip and I dont feel like I need counselling as such. I just drove there, got my stuff and went home. I would much rather order online and save myself the time and bother.

I ordered exante, it was ok but I didnt really like the products that much.

I really like the New You products, I did it for 3 weeks in October and lost 1 stone, and I could enjoy meals, bars, wafers, crisps etc. I have a better feeling than I will be able to maintain, as I can keep using the same products in maintenace to help me keep the weight off for good.

I dont like the way you just stop on lipotrim. Its like one day your on the products and then they are whisked away from you.

I really want to master maintenance Harriet. This is the big thing for me. I know I can lose the weight on TFR (I guess it doesnt matter what plan you do) but to me I really want to be able to keep the weight off.

I know that you are in the same boat as me, you have been there and done it and got the t-shirt. I am sure you feel the same, that you dont want to do this again, you want to figure out how to stay slim when you achieve it this time. Do you have a plan or any suggestions on what you think will ensure your success this time?

Good luck to you babe, hopefully this time is our last time xox

im totally with you on the lt thing...refeeding went ok and then we were just left on our own with no idea what to do next, or thats how it felt at the time. what happened with me was i refed for several weeks and then had a couple tiny biscuits id made one day and then i paniced and basically fought to maintain all that weight id lost, and lost, BIG TIME!

i was planning on doing lt after finishing exante stuff but to be honest this is much more palatable and just the thought of going back to that stuff, well i dont think i can do it to be honest.

what im planning to do afterwards? i really dont know as yet but im thinking it through and will def share my thoughts when ive come to a conclusion lol

I couldnt do lipotrim again now that I have tasted other diet foods that get the same results! Lipotrim really is the worst tasting stuff lol! But it deffo works, but so does exante etc. You can get a free sample from the New You Diet website. You should try it, the bars and wafers and delish, you would never think it was diet food! Thats why I feel more confident about maintaining now, as I really enjoy this food and can see it is a better long term solution for me.

Good luck with your weight loss harriet, I really hope you enjoy the process and that we both can maintain our new slim figures.

I think the last time you had just got to your goal as I had started. So be nice to get to know you better over the coming weeks and months! lol xoxo

tbh i hadnt heard of the new you diet until you mentioned it here but perhaps ill send off for samples and try them if theyre free :)

at the moment i really want to eat something cause im cooking dinner for the oh and for one of my daughters so im going up for a bath in a minute to get me out of the way of the lovely smells

h xx (yes looking forward to getting to know you too)

Baths and early nights are always a good idea when you are getting back into TFR! I went to bed really early last night and slept like a log! lol

Deffo get some free samples. The great thing is that you can have meals on the New You Diet - they have spag bol, red bean chili, and irish stew - they are quite tasty! Quite small but they taste ok, and at least you can sit down and enjoy a meal with your family.

Hope u are enjoying all those bubbles mrs!!

PS. How many kids do you have? You look sooo young!!! xox

Glad to report I did a ketosis test and I am in the pink! Traces of ketones... should be proper ketosis tomorrow... i found it very easy today! Feeling very confident!

I have so many nice clothes from being slim last time I have put together a goal fashion list to keep me extra motivated! :) So I can imagine what I will be wearing at the different stages on my weight loss journey!

Not sure when I will even look for a wedding dress!

I want to wait to I am close to goal so I feel good, but would also like to know what dresses are like to see if I can see one I really like! lol xx
