    Hoping to change my life...

    I had my first weigh in today and lost 10lbs which I am thrilled with but it also made me realise how far I have to go.I've been watching The Biggest Loser Australia and was horrified to realise I am bigger than most of the other contestants.I could identify with all their reasons for wanting to lose weight,and why they had gained weight to begin with.It made me cry.There's so much I can't do with the kids.So much I struggle with in everyday life.Even just cutting my toenails is hard.I can't find any nice clothes to wear.I get out of breath so easily.
    I don't want to live like this anymore.I want to be active and give the kids a good example.I want to enjoy exercise.I want to wear nice clothes.I want to be able to take the dogs for a 2 hour walk.
    I am determined to do it this time!!I refuse to give up.I am not going to believe all the people who say I can't do it.I have no support in real life other than my kids.I'll do it for them!

    10lb off on your first weigh in is an excellent result and gives you plenty of motivation to keep you going on your second week. Well done

    I joined an exercise challenge in April and now I am near the end of May challenge and I find my walking has improved and I am now able to walk for an hour...slowly.

    I am sure someone will be setting up a June challenge shortly if you care to join us you are more than welcome.

    I am determined to do it this time!!I refuse to give up.I am not going to believe all the people who say I can't do it.

    I have joined the June challenge I am finding this surprisingly easy.It actually worries me that I am not struggling to stay within my calorie allowance-in fact I sometimes fond it hard to eat enough-I still have 700 cals to eat today and it's almost 8pm already.I'm going to have a big fruit salad in a minute.With yogurt. I'm not even craving chocolate-it's so weird.I'm planning to do the Cheltenham marathon next year-can't do it this year as it's in 3 weeks and I need to have lost a lot more weight.I won't be running-I'll be walking but it is a full 26 miles so I need to work up to that.I can manage about 3 at the moment. With a break in the middle.
    I have my next weigh in on Wednesday and I'm hoping I've done well.I have trouble trusting this is working at the moment despite last week's weight loss.

    The concert was AWESOME!!!! Best night ever!!! My feet hurt so much afterwards though.And my back was so painful.I am determined to be skinny next time I go and see them
    I only lost a pound this week but that's better than nothing I can now get into a primark size 20.

    Another 3lbs gone for good I'm really pleased with that because the past 2 weeks I've only lost a pound a week and I was a bit disappointed.This week I decided to eat back some of my exercise calories and that's worked really well it seems so I'll do the same this week.I need to measure myself as well.I haven't felt deprived yet which is good-I don't really drink alcohol so that helps And I am eating soooo much fruit and veg now My trousers are getting loose and I will need new ones soon but am hanging on a bit longer.
