    Question What to do?

    Hi All,

Not found the right approach, keep trying and not able to sustain consistency with whatever I do. So the weight is up and down.

It's now mid of March and I always seem to be far away from my goal. It's not about education or denial. I know I eat too much and why I gain weight. I just can't eat enough to lose....

What am I supposed to do?

    Thanks.
    Sammy

Hi Sammy, I know how you feel. It's awful when you're trying and the weight just won't come off or it does and then you put it all back on again. But you just need to look at how well you've already done. On your stats it says you've already lost almost 3 stone!! That's amazing! Could you maybe give us an example of your daily/weekly diet and how many calories you're on and hopefully me and people on here might have some good tips, healthy filling recipes for you to try! xx

Thanks for the support and understanding. My problem is not physical it's psychological. I know what to do, I just can't do it.

I think that is the same for everyone to be honest! Everyone knows how to lose the weight, it's just hard to find the will power to do it xx

Take things one day at a time and it should all click into place

    Hi Sammy

Think most people can relate to how you're feeling about your weight loss. I have tried many approaches (low carb, restrictive calories, tonnes of exercise, Slimming World, etc. and then back to stuffing my face lol). I think the key truly is to find something that works for you and that you can maintain long-term otherwise you just yo-yo. I know that's common sense and hope that doesn't sound patronising but if you're diet is making you miserable it won't last long. I find that if I have something to look forward to (i.e. drinks and a meal on a Saturday night) it alleviates the drudgery of being on a "diet" and I can focus on my treat. That being said, it doesn't mena you should order the most calorie-laden thing on the menu lol. I heard a good saying that it's what you do most of the time, not what you do occasionally
