Day 1 - complete

I felt a bit of a fraud yesterday listening to my CDC and reading this forum. Such inspiring stories, when mine is just my own damn fault.

However having played sport all my life, finished through injury, I've layered on 3 stones in just over a year. I'd entered a cycle of eating, being depressed and guilty, then eating some more. Plus regular wine!

A common story I'm guessing.

So last night was my breakthrough. Fighting back tears with my CDC, and a realisation that I can do this.

Day one been and gone. Maybe mad starting on a Saturday, but there was zero point in waiting!

51lbs to be lost. I'm blooming well doing this!!!

Well done thats a big achievment getting passed day 1. I will be joining you on monday :)

well done for getting through day one. i also piled on a huge amount of weight in a year after i had an accident and i turned to food for comfort coz i was so depressed...

well done for the breakthrough and all the best... im pretty sure you'll be at goal in no time. all the best :)

Well done!

Thanks guys.

End of day two just about here, 2 shakes; a soup; a porridge; and 3 1/2 litres of water.

Oh my god. I've spent most of the day in the loo!!

I also took the family food shopping. Maybe that was the loony in me. I didn't falter, but did get a weird look when I sniffed a coffee cake :)

Your doing great. How you doing with ur water, u managing it all? Have u had any side effects so far?

I drank heaps of coffee previously - I've replaced it with water (or 1 coke zero per day, or 1 golden veggie drink per day).

Day one I had 4 litres. Day two 3.5. So far today, about 2.5.

I've been weeing for our fair land though!!!

One of the best things I did was buy a diary - I write everything I'm having in terms of shakes (including whether I like / dislike), and water intake to spur me on.

Well done, when you start seeing the weight fall off you will feel even more motivated :) I was in the RAF and kept pretty fit but when I left after having my first child I got lazy with exercise and piled the weight on (5 stone). I lost a stone of it after my last pregnancy but still have 4 to go xx

R u allowed a diet drink a day??

Great minds think alike i bought a diary to fill in too lol i think its a great idea, so you can look back on how u felt and what u ate etc.

No the only thing b4 now id drink is diet irn bru. trying not to think about it. Think by the time i head to bed ill have drunk 1 litre of water. Not great but i suppose its a start, will aim to do more 2moro. Tho god knows what it will be like drinking the 2.5 litres. ive been running to the toilet as it is all day lol
