Thread: Is anyone starting Cambridge January 2014? Lets support each other!

    Smile Is anyone starting Cambridge January 2014? Lets support each other!

    Hi Everyone

    I am starting Cambridge at the beginning of January and looking for help and support with my weight loss journey!
    If anyone else is starting I would love to help and support other dieters too!

    I have tried Cambridge before and know how had it is to find support outside of the internet, and I know how solitary the diet can be, as unlike other diets you only ever speak to your counselor about the diet. Minimins was a real lifesaver previously and spurred me on to stick with the diet 100%.

    Let me tell you a bit about myself... I need to lose about 5 stone, but I have set myself a target of losing 3 stone for now, as I would like to hit that goal by the beginning of April.
    I have previously lost 3 stone and 10 lbs on Cambridge about 2 years ago - i was about 1 and a half stone away from my target when i gave up, I thought that I wanted to lose the rest of the weight by other means.... Obviously that did not happen!!!

    So, am going to start at the beginning of January... x

    Im hopefully starting cwp the end of this week!
    I too have done the diet before and know how great it is (as long as i stick to it).

    Im looking at losing around 5 stone also, maybe more. But my first goal is 2.5stone. That would bring me to what i was the last time i did the plan

    you will be successful this time around-i have every confidence in you! I gave up as i got bored and wanted to go out and have fun! It's a shame all my fun activities seem to revolve around food!!! good luck! Why did you give up last time? x

    Thanks for your confidence boost. 201; is going to be my year of good things, I know it will be. I have up initially as like yourself I want to have fun but then when I was going to restart I had a horrible few months and my head was messed up, I was off work for 3 months and comfort ate the full time I was off! Now my head is straight I have answers and I'm ready to move on!!! No longer feeling sorry for myself

    Looking forward to following everyone's journeys and hopefully offering each other encourage and support when needed but also praise for taking the toughest step..... The 1st


    Week 1- lost 6.5lbs
    Week 2 -lost 2lbs and 3 1/4 inches
    Week 3 - lost 4 1/4lbs
    Week 4 and 5 - 6 3/4 lbs 5 3/4 inches

    Hi Sazzledazzle, I could have written the same post...I have 5 stone to lose but my target is to have between 3 & 4 stone off by April(I'm moving house and starting a new job in April) so I can see myself stopping/changing diets in April. I plan to start SSing on the 2nd January, it depends if I am still feeling hungover... I did CWP around 7 years ago and lost a couple of stone, since then I have had 2 more kids and now I am ready to lose the weight again
