    My 80 Day Challenge

    I am starting day 1 of my 80 day challenge today. I dont want to say too much just in case this is another of my failed restarts. I know that sounds pessimistic but I am actually feeling quite optimistic. I have just weighed myself and I am 14 stone 13 O.M.G .. It is exactly 80 days until I have a trip to Newquay. I will say though that my hubby is not going to be impressed with me taking yet another walk down Exante lane xx

    16th March Restart AGAIN
    Goal 1 ~ Get into Ketosis
    Goal 2 ~ Get to first weigh in without giving up
    Goal 2.5 ~ Get to second weigh in without giving up
    Goal 3 ~ Get into the 13's

    RE-START 01.01.2015

    Goals for 2015:

    1. TS for 31 days till hols , target - 20lb.

    (lost 19.25 lbs) weight 14s exactly so 0.75lb short of target.
    2. Limit holiday gain to 7lb - achievable as mainly a walking hols
    ( Achieved - had a gain of 6.5lb, very happy with that)
    3. WS or TS till 21st July - Sons graduation
    4. Reach size 14/16 clothes for sons graduation.
    5. Reach 11st 7lb by end of July)
    7. ?? Slimming World till target weight of 10st (by 27.9.15. & holiday in Greece)

    8. Fit into size 12 jeans
    9. Maintenance plan (not sure how yet
    )

    Hello again Nova. I'm having a good diet day. I hope you and Lady are, too. Funny isn't it how some days are easier than others? Some you almost sail through and others, you're clinging on my your fingertips . Either way it's best to think longterm, as obsessing over every single meal/day can lead to meltdowns. Keep an eye on your eventual goal as it will be here before you know it x

    Hi Serialslimmer.. Im glad your having a good diet day. Sometimes they seem so few!! Yeah I think your right we do all have to keep our eye on the prize. Im just gonna think constantly about how **** I will feel if I have to buy Fat summer clothes and go away feeling like a flump. I have tried numerous restarts and it hasnt stuck but this weekend I had 3 days of feeling really ill and I thought if I could get through that I can get through 3 or 4 days getting into ketosis. Anyway heres to all of us minimins looking towards the summer and lets hope we all get there feeling happy!!! ��

    I try to picture something encouraging. For example, not having to cover-up with a baggy black cardigan all summer, even on the hottest, sunniest days. Wee things like that can be very motivating x

    Day 3 nearly done.. Got 1 more pack to have later.. Been doing anything I can to keep me occupied.. Even Ironing and I never do Ironing!! Couldnt sleep for ages last night and that was hard as I felt soooo hungry. Im hoping tonight I drift of easily before my tummy starts rumbling.. Hope everyone has had a good day .. No sign of ketosis yet.. I expect it will be a few more days yet x

    It usually takes from a few days to a week for ketosis to 'hit' me so it may be similar for you. Once it's arrived this diet gets much easier but that doesn't mean you won't ever want to eat! You're doing great x

    Argh!!! Im soo hungry and I cant sleep but I feel knackered. Not eating carbs and not drinking alcohol really wakes your brain up.. I wish it would shut up so I can go to sleep x
