    5 Days in...

    I'm a 38 year old male and approx 23st and 6"5.. (Am I the only man here )

    thought i I would give Exante a go and must say I like the taste of all of it..
    Started on Monday, so just had my 5th dinner.. I have properly stuck to the 3 meals but the only thing I can't stop is having a cuppa tea.. But only use skimmed milk and a sweetener..

    I also combine this with a good 30 mins fast paced walk with the dog in the evening.. must be in ketosis as always freezing cold, but don't seem to be losing any weight? Should I have lost any by now and what are the averages I could lose? I'm on the TS for the full 3 weeks...

    Hi and welcome, you're not the only man, there are a few scattered about, Mr Determined and Chris to name a couple.

    Well done on sticking to it but if I were you I'd try and do without the milk in your tea, could you have it black or peppermint tea or black coffee?

    Women are meant to lose about a stone a month and very sadly for us men tend to lose a lot more (so unfair ) - stick with it and the weight will fall off you......and do yourself a favour and stay away from the scales apart from weigh day!

    also so have a bit of an issue.. Need to go for a dinner with a customer on Monday in a restaurant.. The only thing they could offer me is a piece of steamed salmon and lettuce, tomato and carrot

    is this going to ruin my week? Bit worried about it..

    Can you go and just not eat? I've used toothache a few times in the past as people tend to be sympathetic about that - if not then as long as it's low carb you should hopefully be ok.....but no business boozes allowed!

    It's the type of customer who I can't really not have anything with, so thought I would ask them for a dry fish with no sauces or anything and just the salad..

    Don't drink alcohol, so that's fine

    I'm sure someone will be along who can advise better then me, I've never done adding food, I'm always angelically good or bl00dy awful, never seem to do the inbetween bit!

    They recommend that you only do 3 weeks and eat on the 4th week as it's not a supervised diet and you don't have to have doctors approval, but some people, me included, just carry on with just packs and don't have a food week.

    I'm coming to the end of week 4 now and am not planning on stopping for a lot of weeks yet!

    Just ordered my next box, a 4 week pack.. So when my current first week is done, I will be able to continue for another 4 weeks... Don't feel hungry, but coming down with a cold.. (Man flu lol) don't feel good ATM, but not giving up on the diet...
