    Walking for weight loss?

Does anyone just walk for exercise?

I have recently started walking 10-15 miles a week, spread over four days. I have always been a slow weight loss person, half a pound - a pound being good for me. But last week I lost 2 and a half pounds in one week just ( I presume) from walking.
I'm gonna see how this week pans out.... But I'm quite happy with that.

I would love to give the couch25k a go One day. When I'm not as big. So it's my future goal.

I just walk for exercise anything from 3 miles to 12 miles a day.If the weather is good I just walk and walk listening to podcast or some music.
Sometimes I forget I also have to walk back to the house So I try and do circular routes.
    Started Paleo/Primal Apr 2012 at 9st 9lbs.Got down to 8st 4lbs October 2012 and have been maintaining between 8st 4lbs-8st 7lbs since.

If you want it enough you won't keep finding excuses to not do it.

Main goal ATM is to lose the remaining 9 lb of regain weight and reclaim my 8 st
Then onto new pastures to eventually get to target
Interim target set at 10st 2lb,
i will see how I feel and then maybe lower it,

Thanks for the replies. All sounds very promising. And seven stones is a phenomenal weight loss!

I just thought if I forced myself out a few mile a day rather than sat watching crap on telly it'd do me the world of good.
It really only takes about 48 mins to do 3 miles too. And thats up steep hill for half of it. Feel loads better after it
