What is your inspiration? For me it is the wardrobe full of clothes I don't fit into!

There are so many forums on this site I don't know if this kind of forum exists but I thought I may as well start a new one.

Does anyone else have a closet full of clothes with nothing to wear? I never realised how big a size I was getting, for months every time I tried on a size 20/22 and it didn't fit I put it down to the store sizes being strange but now I am starting a new job and I have literally nothing to wear! I am hoping this is what will get me through till Christmas when I should be back to my old weight, and keep me going after Christmas to maintain my weight!

Anyone else want to share what is spurring them on to lose or maintain their weight?

Mine is to stop being so negative, to feel confident, which will change how I think and act which will, in turn, make me a better person to be around and which will, hopefully bring me a lot closer to my dream of getting married and being a mum. x

The main thing spurring me on is my self esteem, suffered with it for most of my life and it has been down to my weight. I'm also going to Corfu next year and I want to wear a pair of shorts! x

definitely my health. and secondly to feel confident to wear a bikini for the first time in 20 years! Already my arms and legs aren't hiding as much as before and im wearing colours other than black so well on the way :)

Clothes! (does that sound shallow?) I love clothes, experimenting with fashion and the way a good outfit makes me feel confident, but at the moment I live in leggins and loose shirts because being big has zapped any confidence I had!

haha :) I have donated my old clothes - the plus sized ones. And I want to fit in my new clothes all the time! That's my motivation to lose weight.

I have lost weight before going from 20.2 to 11.8 and on the way down bought some really nice outfits which I promptly put onto eBay to pay for new outfits in the size below. The trouble is that the big girl is always struggling with the littler girl and as a result I am here again working on getting back to where I was; only now I'm really missing that little plum denim skirt in a size 16 and so on.

My wardrobe varies from size 10 - granted its a stretchy Laura Ashley jersey dress to size 18 where I am now. The lesson I have learned is to keep a few of my favourite pieces in a couple of sizes up to save having to buy again as I tend to yo-yo.

CLOTHES and feeling confident to do the activities I used to do when previously lost weight. My size 14 wardrobe has been moved to the loft but I want it back in my wardrobe taking over the wardrobe! I want fast results but keep telling myself to aim for slow and steady and to be patient. Time will tell x

I'm leaving my clothes in the wardrobe where I can see them and be constantly reminded of my goal. I've also got a pretty Chloe denim skirt that is a small size 14 and has never fitted out and hanging in front of the wardrobe to be my inspiration to continue. When that fits I'm done! x

Kate I know exactly what you mean about chairs, especially deck chairs! If it looked at all feeble you weren't getting me nowhere near it. x

Definitely fitting back into my smaller clothes and also having more energy to run around & play with my daughters.
