Hi,
Have read some threads and wading my way through the rest but could someone let me know if there is such a thing as a book or webiste that they use for a list of calories. I don't have phone apps etc and have never calorie counted so no idea what things are.
I am doing this for health reasons as well as weight loss and have been researching it for a long time but just scared of the hunger on down days and feeling faint.
thanks
dawn

You can use My Fitness Pal online hun. I think there may be a few others as well and if you go onto amazon i'm sure they sell general books that list calorie content for you. Collins books used to do one...

Good luck x

Hey Dawny welcome to the juddd bus!! If you're not use to counting cals best to have a look at the packaging when you are buying stuff, you might find WW meals and the like quite helpful at first too

Thank you both, I am using My Fitness Pal and like the fact I can log it as well. Did my first fast day yesterday and it was actually better than I was expecting. Seems it was harder towards the end of the day in the run up to my tiny dinner. What is seems to teach me is exactly how many calories are in things so is making me more aware on my 'normal' days. I also was shocked and not needing breakfast as soon as I got up the next day - which I always do. I now need to see what days suit me each week but so far so good as the first day doing it was not so tough!
