    Black coffee ?

    Hi

    I've just started and was wondering if black coffee is ok ? I don't have sweetener or sugar, but lack of caffeine is really making my head bad.

    Hi cat, black coffee is fine, anytime. Also a nice way to drink coffee is in a hot vanilla shake- chuck a spoon in there. Good luck x

    Am sitting a Waitrose cafe sipping my complimentary black coffee.
    So hard to turn down the little things shortbread biscuit.
    But I was having a 299 calorie mocha, not realising how bad it was.
    Two things have helped me start to tolerate/enjoy black coffee : Rocket Fuel coffee has added guarana and to me tastes a bit smoother than usual instant ;stevia sweetener is less sweet and so now I can drink black coffee/tea with nothing else added.
    I still miss the free biscuit though

    I used to drink lattes and there are loads of cals in there. Still trying to get used to black coffee.

    Black coffee ?

    Black coffee no sugar or sweetener is what got me through. I've been off LT since September and not put an ounce back on. I still drink black coffee no sugar. I get on with that just fine, I don't want to go back to sweet things. There's always biscuits and cakes at home and at work, but I've not had a single one. I just have my coffee instead.

    Hi, yes I am. I took on board all the advice given to me in the refeed literature. I am particularly taking care not nibble on the odd biscuit etc. it's a bad habit to get into and they are totally wasted calories. If I need a sweet fix I grab a few honey roasted almonds and that does the trick.
    I do get very tempted at times, especially as my hubby always buys cakes and mince pies and the such like. If I'm at home at weekends and the kitchen cupboard is on my mind I try and busy myself with something. Sorting out the junk under the stairs is a good one lol. If not I make a large black coffee, run a nice deep bath and wallow for an with a good book. For me all about alternatives.
