4 stone to lose... too much?
Hi there,
I'm new on this thing, I needed a place to find help and support. Don't really feel like I get it at home.
Firstly I'll let you know some basics about me, I'm 23, the best weight I've been was when I was 16, and I had a "Normal" BMI. Although then it wasn't good enough, as I was nearly at the "Overweight" bit on the BMI scale thing. Since then I've gained and lost weight all willy nilly because I'm a bit of a comfort eater.
Now I'm back at living at home from Uni, gaining 6kg in the process, and I'm just sick of it. At Uni I played rugby twice a week, badminton once a week, and jogged if I couldn't make either of those. I'm finding it hard to find cheap/free exercise groups in my area now, so I'm trying to stick to a low calorie diet of 1200 cals. I'm aiming to be 60kg (from 85kg now) by the start of Aug. But is that too much?
Hope all you other folks out there are doing great, this place seems like a great way to get advice and support.

Hi chick, I'm new too and also need to lose 4 stone, health people doctors ect say the recommended weight loss of no more than 2lb a week (I think???) but obviously there's margin for change if someone has like 23st to lose and they're life literally depends on rapid weight loss. Hope this helps
