    So excited

Hi everyone. I think this is the first time I have posted on this part of the forum. I have just come back from the drs and she has agreed to put me on orlistat. I have tried everything in the book to lose this weight but I keep on letting myself down..I "spoke" to a lady called Tracey a while back and she was really helpful with the amount of calories I should be on but I need something to keep me on the straight and narrow. The threat of side effects of the tablets is more than enough and just what I need. So. Im really very excited to start on the road to slimdom and to hopefully get to know you all. Think im going to be around for quite a long time. Hope you are all having a fab day cath x

Lol hiya yes it was. Just couldn't do it keep giving into fattening stuff and saying I'll start tomorrow, but tomorrow never comes. So dr was really fantastic said she is going to weigh me once a month. And help me however she can. Feel very very lucky. How are you x

I'm good thanks, Cath, apart from my dodgy knees, lol.

I found it really useful to go to the doctor to be weighed every month or two. I didn't weigh myself at home for some time, so it was always a nice surprise to go to the GP and find out I'd lost another half stone or whatever. The combination of that, MFP and this forum is what has really helped me shift half my body weight, and I hope you can get the same results. xx

I've been told today that I'll probably be offered a knee replacement soon, after a few years of being told I'd have to wait until I was 60, so I might be getting somewhere at last! xx
