Slowly transitioning to paleo .

I'm embarking on a slow lifestyle change to paleo eating.
I have been transitions already however in an attempt to step up my plan I will log my meals here.

I plan for the next two weeks to allow one lazy/cheat day a week and two cheat meals for either lunch or dinner.
All breakfasts must be paleo.

I will limit my diet coke.habit to three glass a day.
No white sugar or flour.
After the two weeks I will evaluate my goals.

today I ate a large omelette with ham peppers mushrooms and onions. I also made a large Sunday dinner Where I ate chicken carrots broccoli mushroom and cauliflower mash . we'd such a late breakfast and lunch I didn't bother with dinner

I have a serious diet coke habit since my teens which will be hard to break but need must
 
I choose to buy the 150ml cans and have cut down how much and how often I have them.. The cravings were quite bad to start with, but persevere - maybe ask a Heath food shop if they know of a supplement that might help with the cravings ..

I take magnesium, fish oil tablets and chromium
To help with carb cravings :)

It is possible! my friend had a 4 litre a day cherry coke habit and she is now completely off it :)
it was hard as she had withdrawal from the sugar and caffeine as well as all the other chemicals they put in it. I dont think she realised how dependent she was on it until she started to come off it, but definitely one of the best things she could have done for her health.
 
Breakfast two boiled eggs mashed up with black pepper
Snack lemon
Lunch mushrooms and leftover chicken glass of diet coke
dinner bacon roasted with leftover carrots and broccoli .
I am planning on having a blackberry smoothy later on with another glass of diet coke.

I need to organises some.menus for lunch etc as I m basically winging it
 
I took a hypo this morning after working out I normally exercise on a empty stomach but haven't took one of these in a while.I took a packet of graze dried fruit def not paleo but better than sugar. For breakfast I had a whey protein berry smoothy and for lunch I had bacon and banana pancake ( banana egg mashed up with cinnamon ) with other half grilled on the side. Overall whilst today so far has been technically paleo its been high on fruit sugar. I am planning either a chicken stir fry or kale omelette for tea .

Lunch Turkey slices (feeling lazy)
Dinner Thai red curry with chicken peppers onions and roasted sweet potatoes. Made hotly from scratch.
I have drank loads of diet coke today about five glasses have also drank a load of water about eight glasses Just been very thirsty.
 
yesterday I tried to keep in light as id a night out arranged I had home made broth for lunch and a protein shake at breakfast . I had chicken jalfrezi at the Indian with three tablespoons of rice but drank my body weight I cocktails .:confused: I had a banana and some.melon for breakfast however oh is feeling neglected and booked us a meal at the local steakhouse :what: so tonight is going to be another no brainer Just going to replace spuds with veg and hope for the best

I can't resist cocktails, I was actually quite glad the Indian I went to last week was an alcohol free zone!

You did well getting straight back to it today, don't beat yourself up about it :)

I'd a fillet steak with stirfried Veg on sat night ...however I drank copious amounts of vodka about ten or so :rolleyes: Sunday was a disaster I wasn't fit to eat at all attempted a omelette about one which didn't stay down. The other half got a Chinese That night snd I had some salt and.chilli ribs :mad: Today was much better I had a breakfast smoothie with some whey . For dinner I ate chicken. carrots cauliflower and broccoli And for my tea I had homemade carrot and leek soup.

Well done for getting back on track yesterday :) its hard to think about eating right with a hangover especially when the OH wants to order takeaway! Don't think you did too bad all in all xx

I would have done a lot worse only my stomach was so bad. I had a smoothed this am with frozen berries cacao nibs a banana and the juice of a orange. For lunch I had a 6oz chump steak which I got reduced with onions peppers and mushrooms. however I had a slice of bannock their. first bread in weeks but feeling the bloat already.
 
yday evening I had home made carrot and leek soup felt horrible after the bannock and ended up in bed early.
Today so far I have had two eggs mashed up for breakfast and for lunch sweet potato and pork chops. I had to double my workout as I missed it last night so lunch is carbon heavy . I plan on sacking on the remaining soup and have no idea qhat to make for dinner .

I had paleo banana pancake today for breakfast. I had a banana after exercising and a large chicken stir fry for dinner with a gripped nextarine

Well haven't updated in a while sunday was total cheat day .to day u had eggs for breakfast mashed in a cup with pepper I missed lunch and had Thai red chicken curry with tonnes of Veg for tea
