    6 weeks to skinnydom

    Hey my names Amy.

    Slim and and save was the first ever diet I attempted and did really well at it, had a couple of hiccups along the way but got down from over 15 stone to under 12. I think since losing the weight and so many people commenting it's really made me slip. I look quite slim at my current weight so didn't take the diet too seriously. The thing is, now I've stayed at this weight for 6 months plus, I feel fat again, I've been around 10lbs lighter than what I am now and although everyone says I look no different I feel it!!

    so it's my birthday in 6 weeks, I have NEVER been slim on my birthday and I'm determined to fit into size 10s. Again, something I've never achieved. Last time I did a stint of slim and save for 5 and a half weeks I lost 20lbs so if I could do that again I'll be more than happy.

    Im just on my way to work so will fill in more later and upload pics etc but here's to day 1!! Again!!

    Just got on the bus on the way to work so thought id do another quick update. I was at this weight back in july and planned on slimming down a bit for my holiday, I failed miserably. I was well on track for being about 10 and a half stone but with me weighing myself constantly I saw I was ahead of schedule and started slipping again. Consequently I went to ibiza no slimmer than I started.

    I always tend to do really well then go off the rails again but luckily I have never ended up back in the overweight category. I started a new job at this weight so stopped getting comments on my weight loss because my new work mates only ever knew me looking like this, it was only when I showed them pics that they were amazed at how well I had done and how good I look now. So my manager decided to try this diet as shes going on holiday and over the past 2 weeks she's done really well. It's given me the motivation to finally get to my goal weight. I've ordered another months worth of s&s and will use the last of the hundreds of packs I've got left.

    Day one I've got 2 shakes with me today in work then I'll have cheesy pasta and another shake when I get home. Anyone please feel free to help me along or rant and vent. Find it so much easier when I have you lovely lot egging me on xx

    Well it's loads quieter on here than I remember! Still got over an hour and a half left in work and have been drinking copious amounts of coffee to keep me from falling asleep at my desk but also stop my feeling hungry. Had 2 shakes so far and may go for a third before I finish to stop me stopping off at one of the 3 million takeaways I have on my street. Actually looking forward to some cheesy pasta when I get back. Last time I did this I survived off 3 strawberry shakes a day and one cheesy pasta because they are pretty much the only flavours I like. I've tried mixing it up a bit and ordering a couple of banana this time round. Wild I know!

    Are there many people doing s&s on here? Seems like a bit of a ghost town on here, makes me feel like I'm talking to myself ha xxx

    Hello, I'm just doing the diary rounds and catching up!
    I'm on week nine so far but have had to face a few bumps on the way. Am getting to the 'I just wanna stuff my face in a cake' phase now!! Really hoping I can overcome the feeling! (For obvious reasons as how embarrassing it would be shoving my face into a cake! Lol!!)

    I love the strawberry shake too!! The banana one is nice hot too and also good with a shot of coffee in! Yum yum!!

    What are you doing for your birthday?

    I have found that because I've had a baby I'm not getting hardly anyone comment on my weight loss because I guess they just assume it's baby weight shedding. I'm sure your work colleagues will be noticing once you're rocking your size 10 jeans

    Hey so nice to finally have someone to talk to!! Nine weeks is amazing!! Most I managed in one week was about 7. How much have you lost already? I hate the cake feeling, I have it all the time, doesn't help that in two weeks we're having a great British bake off in work haha.

    might try that with he banana, I don't usually like banana flavoured things but my boss had it the other day and smelt gorge so went all out and ordered 5 haha.

    I'm going to warehouse project for my birthday, no doubt she'd a few pounds in there!

    What size are you planning on getting to? When I first started I was aiming for 8 but think that's massively unrealistic now haha xx

    I think it's weird how your taste buds change too. I used to love the coffee shake but now don't really like it!!

    I'd like to get to a happy 10-12 really. Obviously ideally a 10!

    So far I've lost two and a half stone. Yippee.

    Your birthday sounds good - you'll probably end up a size 8 afterwards!! Ha ha!

    Cor the temptation with that bake off - yikes! Wouldn't be able to cope with that!!

    Ooh hate the coffee shake!! It's really monotonous having 3 of the same flavoured shakes a day but if it makes me skinny I'll put up with it haha.

    I'm a 12 at the minute, I was a small 12 but now I'm a tight 12 ha, gonna order some 10s from ebay I reckon and hang them up to motivate me. I'd probably cry if I became an 8 then stuff my face with happiness and no longer be an 8 by the end of it ha. I started off as a size 20 so proud of myself for staying at a 12 for 6 months but I still see myself as the fat me, even though I look like a different person. It's really weird. I no longer feel any different than I did when I was a size 20 so I'm hoping getting to a 10 will make a difference.

    not sure about the bake off, may have to book a sick day haha xx

    Well I've been 10lbs lighter than this but pretty much maintained between 11.8 and 12st.

    i love the bars!! Just ordered some and should get them on Thursday. I'm being strict as possible for the next 6 weeks. I need to finally do this!! It's my bloody stomach!!! Jelly belly central!! Just taken some pics and I'm not impressed at all, I'm gonna post them anyway and keep doing it every Tuesday. Not looking forward to this haha xx

    Hiya! The more the merrier I think, not bothered what diet you're on like you said we're all in the same boat!! How is herbalife? Only ever done slim and save.

    i think it's this time of year you know, most people slack off. This time last year I had just lost my first stone and a bit so hoping for the same this time round haha xx

    I love herbalife.

    I have 2 shakes then 1 600 calorie meal.

    I usually have a snack of 2 boiled eggs so rather than munching on biscuits & crisps etc.

    I have lost 6lbs in 2 weeks so I am very happy with that.

    Would love to be at my ideal weight by March 2014.

    Bit of a struggle at night when I am sitting with hubby while he is munching his dinner with bread & butter then eating lemon cheesecake - aaaaaaaargh honestly men & their 32 inch waists darn them.

    I forgot to say - yeah the problem is when you've lost weight you feel confident and social able and want to eat out and then it blooming piles back on!! Vicious circle!! I'm desperately trying not to fall into that trap AGAIN!!
