Hi,

After my 4 week dalliance with WW (which I did enjoy), I have decided to come back over to SW, hope you will take me back??!

I thought I would restart my Diary as the previous one is getting a bit too long!!

I will reintroduce myself, I am Sara, almost 30 :cry:, married with a 22 month old little girl who is the light of my life :D I would really like to lose another 9lb but am aware that I may have hit my "natural" weight, even so I will try hard to try and shift those last few pounds and get me down to target!

I have now been following SW for a year from home on my own and have lost (and kept off) 16.5lb. I know it's not the biggest amount of weight and to be truthful, I probably could have lost more weight but I am a social butterfly :p and do like saving up my Syns and using them for alcohol of a weekend!!

So here is the first day of my new Diary, I have put links in at the bottom to link back to my old diaries if anyone would like to have a look.

Friday 12th November - Red Day

Breakfast: 2 Pieces WW Bread (HEB), with 2 LCL Triangles (HEA) and Vegemite (free)

Lunch: Homemade Butternut Squash Soup (Butternut Squash, Onions, Garlic, Stockpot, 50g Lentils (2 syns) = 2 syns

Tea: Quorn Red Onion Burger (1 syn) with 42g Mozzarella melted on top (HEA) in wholemeal bun (HEB), parsnip chips, King Prawns and 1 tbsp Hot Sweet Chilli Sauce (1.5 syns) = 2.5 syns

Hellooooo! Welcome Back :)

All I can suggest is take what you've learn't from WW, in the sense that no rice and pasta for lunch, just a simple sandwich or pitta with some fruit and then whatever plan your on limit yourself to one carb portion a day, so rice/pasta/potatoes for tea :) and make the most of your superfree veggies. I have also hit my natural weight I do believe but I'm trying to get the scales moving by doing more red and trying to eat more speedy foods :) I think I need to alternate maybe between red and green :)

Yeah we are going to try and do more Red Days (they seem easier now we have been on WW) and only have a few Green Days per week, we are also cutting down on portion sizes and trying to have Soups using Superfree/speed veg too.

Just a note of unfair and stamping my feet!! Hubby started this at 12st 7lb and is now down to 11lb 4, and he still eats cr@p every other hour of the day, oh to have his metabolism! :p

How are you getting on in your new place? We have had to take our house off the market as it's not selling so we are hoping that we can invest some money into it and get some work done to it as by goodness I HATE this house!!!

Had a good day foodwise, Hubby made a huge brunch which was really gorgeous and our little girl (who is almost 23 months :O ) ate a huge plateful too!! :D

Tomorrow probably won't be too good as I am going to a pub for a meal for my friends little girls birthday, I had to pre-order so chose Garlic Mushrooms for Starters and Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas for main, I will probably have to take quite a big hit on the Syns for that, eeekkkk!!! :eek:

Saturday 13th November - Extra Easy Day

I am having another EE day today due to having Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas later on but I have just made a casserole in the slow cooker for tea tonight which I think would be free on Red (anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong!) it has the following:

1/2 Swede, 3 Carrots, 1 Leek, 2 Small Onions (all in a pack for £1.79 from my local greengrocers!), tin Chopped Tomatoes, clove of Garlic, Stockpot and Quorn Pieces and some herbs & spices.

If it is nice I will put the recipe up on the Recipe Section!!
 
Well it was a stew fail!! I had to cover all of the veg with water but it made the stew really watery, it was ok but I wouldn't add as much water as this time!!

The meal was lovely, I had Garlic Mushrooms for starter and a large fish and chips but I only ate half the fish and about 4 of the chips so I am going to guesstimate 30 syns to be safe!!

Sunday 14th November - Extra Easy Day

Today was going brilliantly, I really enjoyed the Red Day again.....but then we went to my friends from works who is due her baby in 2 weeks and her husband had baked a cake and some cookies and I was encouraged to have a piece of cake and a cookie by my friends, they were absolutely gorgeous!!!!! I don't feel guilty as it's just one of those things but I am not expecting a loss this week, maybe a gain of up to 2lb!!

It was all going so well.......and then Hubby got delayed in work which meant that he was late picking me up which meant we were late picking the baby up and then late getting home and late putting baby to bed (8pm)......so he decided to get a takeaway instead of cooking :( So I am having Salt & Pepper King Prawns and then Tofu Kung Po and Boiled Rice which isn't too bad but considering I am on a red day, I will have to syn the rice and sauce and oil for the prawns :(

Wednesday 17th November - Red Day

I wasn't that good today but I was so hungry and hubby was out so I ended up having my comfort tea, we don't have much food in at the moment as it's the week before payday so all we had for lunch were tortilla wraps so I had to take the hit for the syns on them!!

I WI this morning and put on 1lb which was much better than I anticipated, especially as * week started this morning (which explains why I have been craving sweet things all week :p).

Had a nice quiet night in last night, had my sister and her boyfriend round so we got a takeaway and had a few drinks watching X Factor, it was a lovely night!

Best of all though my little girl started walking for the first time yesterday, she is almost 23 months and has problems with hypermobility in her ankles and hips and she was 7 weeks premature so we were told she wouldn't walk until she was at least 2 so it was a lovely surprise, I was so proud I cried!!!!

I was very domesticated today and baked a batch of fairy cakes with my daughter and then decided to make some mince pies from scratch, it's probably been about 14/15 years since I last made them! But I did it and although they didn't look that amazing they tasted gorgeous!! I am going to take 30 syns for them to be sure!! My sisters boyfriend said that they are the nicest Mince Pies he has ever had, that's good enough for me!!! :D I am going to keep trying and perfect the pastry and make them more aesthetical!

Here is a picture of me taken yesterday, as you can see I am naturally curvy (despite losing over a stone, I have not lost a cup size) but I am quite happy with my figure now. I would like to get rid of my muffin top but I think I am almost there. I would be interested in what anyone else thinks, thanks :)

Hiya,

Just a quick update and to see what people think. I am thinking of calling Target, I am liking my figure now, the numbers on the scales aren't that satisfying but I don't think I am built to be "skinny" so I am trying to be sensible and say I have been on SW now for a year and have hit a plateau but whereas when I last hit a plateau and I wasn't happy with my figure, I am now......I may even find once I call target and relax a bit some more weight may come off which is fine by me.

What do you think? I would be interested in anyones opinions :)
