Hi All,

i have decided to re start my diary now Christmas is over. New clean slate. Ready to shed some serious lbs.

i have about two and half stone to shift until I think I'll be in my happy place. I've done slimming world before in the UK but now I'm living in Australia until June 2014 so I'm going it alone. I've added a few lbs this Christmas week but now it's time to get down to business. I'm just glad it's summer here, lots of salads to get me back on track.

obviously some things in my diary will be oz versions for example forme fat free yogurts are the equivalent of muller light! Sooo here goes...... Oooh also I'll weigh in on Friday mornings :)
 
Good luck with your restart! I am also restarting today after an indulgent Christmas. Am almost sick of food now :)

I haven't been brave enough to weight myself yet but know I have about 2 stone to lose. Look forward to reading your diary.
 
I sighed myself but to be honest I'm so bloated that I can't tell whether it's just bloat or actual fat increase hahaha! Good luck to you also we can do this :)

Ok so today could be challenging, me and my boyfriend are going to the wine region for a day out. It's a food and wine trail self drive round the swan river valleys, theirs hundreds of wineries, cheese places, breweries, ice creameries, chocolate factories and nougat factories, along with honey houses and a shed load of resteraunts.

However I am pre planned, picnic is sorted so we won't be eating out we're having a lovely picnic by the river, were wandering around the vine yards but no tasting will be happening. We will be visiting the chocolate factory though but I know the tasting is only a small amount so no chance I can stuff my face haha!! Then it's just coffee at one of the river side vine yard cafés but again I'll just have a fruit tea!

lunch potato salad (potatoes boiled, chopped ham, salt pepper, boiled eggs, mayo 2 syns) pasta salad (pasta, Passata, spinach, cucumber, tomato, peppers, sweet corn, grated carrot) cucumber and carrot sticks with free cottage cheese

OH is on his sandwiches and will be having the above with me but no white baguettes are passing my lips!

Afternoon syns- chocolate factory will be my only syns today so I'll just allow whole allowance

dinners planning on just having a salad possibly tuna salad to keep it light and easy after our day out (lettuce, spinach, cucumber, onion, tomato, sweet corn, grated carrot, tuna)

My day out went ok, the chocolate factory was closed so had a ice cream instead! Just got my meal out tomorrow for NYE to get through and then it's all systems go for 2014! Back to the gym as well woo! Shall be 100% tomorrow probs just fruit for breakfast and then salad for lunch to counteract for meal out. It's NYE though can't punish myself too much
 
So tonight for NYE it's an Indian resteraunt....not too bad I'll have rogan josh and boiled rice!

Omelette- 2 eggs mushrooms peppers with half tin chopped toms

yone wants to make a bet at betfred on the likelihood of me giving into garlic naan tonight you'd make yourself a few quid haha. There's no hope if I already know I'm going to eat it. But hey sod it it's NYE my first NY in oz so I'm going to enjoy myself and nail plan from the 1st jan for the rest of my life yey

Happy New Year to you all, wishing everyone a slim 2014. Here's to hopefully being 3 stone less this time next year!

So I've decided to weigh myself this morning after my bad Christmas and naughty Indian last night.....nice gain so I am 13.3stone and I don't want to this ever again I've undone Decembers work but I'm writing it here to be honest with myself so I can track my journey honestly. ! I've joined up to the January challenge and Im Hoping the scales will go down quite a few lbs this week given that my body is no longer being fed stodgy food.

lunch 1 x wholemeal bread (HEB) 2 boiled eggs (free) side salad- spinach, cucumber. Peppers, tomatoes, grated carrot, red onion

Dollop ketchup 1 syn

Anyone read the Daily Mail article on how to refuse food...it said something along the lines of saying 'I don't eat that' instead of 'I can't' because then whoever is offering it to you won't start saying 'oh course you can treat yourself, it's only once' etc etc....well practice makes perfect ladies.

11 hours into 2014 here in oz and someone has just asked me if if any going for a Chinese tonight! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? After meal out last night the endless pub meals and crap from the watermark we ate not to mention Christmas Day. I said 'thanks for the offer but I don't eat Chinese' haha

Went round to my aunties last night after they had been the Chinese (still so proud I turned that one down) but she came out with a cheese board, crisps dip and a bloody baileys cheesecake. I had one mouthful of the cheesecake as she had made it herself so wanted to give it a try absolutely gorgeous but I'm still sick of the sigh of bad food so I had no more. Guess that's a few syns for teaspoon of it. Fine by me was under syns anyway.

back to the gym today looking forward to it haha

DINNER so excited for this...steak sandwich and chips yey
wholemeal bread (HEB) steak all fat removed grilled (free) SW chips (free) side salad spinach cucumber grated carrot tomatoes grilled onions on sandwich (SUPERFREE) cheese Rf (HEA)

sounds des like it's going to be a huge dinner haha, will only be having few SW chips as I'm conscious of having a carb overload
 
My boyfriend has stole the scales and hidden them, this time not be request from me haha! Think he got sick of me giving him a running commentary of my lbs coming off from the Christmas gain! He's giving me them back Saturday morning which will be official weigh day!

Also in Austraila we don't have alpen lights and I've tried importing some but SOOO expensive...my mums just asked what is ant sending over with my gran for my birthday and my reply 'alpen lights and slimming world magazines! Her reply was she isn't buying me magazines for my birthday she's sending me some perfume instead bless her so I've just downloading the E versions on my ipad. Haven't read one since I moved here 3 months ago so I'm settling down to a good read with a green tea!
