Time to reboot! 6 stone down at least 6 to go!

This is my second and definitely last attempt at a diary - cos this time I'm definitely going all the way!

About me: 4th Jan 2013 I started doing SW from home. That day I weighed myself and came in at 25st 10lbs and I swear I almost broke down. At 5ft 7 I was morbidly obese, couldn't walk far without my legs and back aching, stairs were impossible, finding clothes was a nightmare. Enough was enough. I started the plan myself at home and by early September 2013 I had reached 19st 10lbs. I was over the moon.

And...that's where complacency stepped in. I was by no means at goal but had lost so much that the benefits were already fantastic. I can walk miles, smaller clothes, feel better etc and I was in a new relationship.

So, since then I've tried several times to start again with little success because my heart just wasn't in it.

This week something has finally clicked and I am back to it! For real. So I bit the bullet yesterday and weighed myself and I am 20st 1lb. I am angry that I've wasted the past 9 months or so in terms of how much more I could have had off, but am massively relieved that I've only gained 5lbs.

My target this week is to lose that 5lbs and get myself back down to my lowest weight on this journey. So my weigh in day will be a Friday.

Thank you to whoever takes the time to read this and hopefully we can help and support each other along the way.

I've finally decided no more excuses, I want results and you only get one or the other! Let's do this

Thanks mini I'm defo in it for the long haul this time and seeing as I'm doing it from home I'm going to stick to updating this diary as it holds me accountable lol!
 
So today I woke up late and had to rush to meet a friend for a catch up then a movie.

Our meeting place is Starbucks which usually holds a whole host of temptations for me ...but not this time! In the past my favourite thing was a caramel frappacino with cream and a muffin. Today I was super good and had a fruit salad and a spearmint green tea - feel sooo good for it

Came home and made a big pot of SW chilli, was absolutely lush. I made it my own way with the following:

Extra lean mince
Onions
Mushrooms
Peppers
Mixed beans
Sweet corn
Chopped toms
Passata

Lots of chilli garlic and cayenne pepper! Can just about feel my tongue again lol. Lots left over for tomorrow's tea as well.

Might have some fruit salad and muller light later - if I've any room that is!
 
Yeah I still can't quite believe I managed to say no to the bad stuff! I really mean it this time though.

I actually just found out the old gym I used to go to is closing so I'm looking around pricing a new one. That's phase 2 of my body fat attack - exercise lol. Just need to find a gym close by that doesn't cost the earth lol
 
Having a great on an day today.

Breakfast:
Tesco Blueberry wheats (Hex B) and skimmed milk (hex A)

Lunch:
Subway club salad bowl with lettuce, red onion, tomato, peppers, pickles and jalapeños with sweet onion sauce (2 syns)

Dinner:
Haven't had yet but it's last night left over SW chilli with rice

Snacks:
Red grapefruit, clementine and pineapple.

Lots of water n green tea!

Plus I've walked 3 miles Great way to start the week!
 
Another great day managed to stay on plan despite copious amounts of sweets and chocolate doing the rounds in the office!

Breakfast:
Blueberry wheats (hex b) and skimmed milk (hex a)

Lunch:
Subway club salad with honey mustard dressing (2syns)

Dinner:
Slimming world burger with sweet potato wedges, kale and carrot batons

Snacks:
Red grapefruit, 2 clementines

2 litres water and 3 cups green tea

Walked 3 miles.

If I can keep up this pace I'm really looking forward to weigh in Friday!

So before I lose heart, and because I mean it this time, just thought I'd post a little before bad after photo...well more a before and during photo cos I've still a long way to go and the next collage will have a third photo of a much smaller again 'me'!

Yuck what a horrible day!! (Weather wise only) thankfully lol. Had a long day at work and managed to say no to the mountain of sweets and chocolate still doing the rounds Feel great and so in control for the first time in ages!

Food Diary

Breakfast:
Blueberry wheats (hex b) and skimmed milk (hex a)

Lunch:
Subway salad with sweet onion sauce (2syns)

Haven't had dinner yet but it's going to be chicken skewers with onions peppers and mushrooms marinated in a mix of garlic, chilli, juice of one orange, soy, and honey (2syns) might have some boiled rice with if I'm hungry

Snacks:
Red grapefruit, melon and muller light

Doing well dawnio :). Take it 1lb at a time. You've already done so well losing 5/6 stone. Wish you all the best.

I am taking it nice n slow, one day at a time at the minute especially as I was off plan for so long. I just don't want to let myself down again as I'm really determined to stick it out this time and see it through to goal!

Ahhh so it's Friday weigh in tomorrow! Really hoping for a big loss my first week back on plan but suppose I'll have to wait and see!

Had a good day food wise so happy with that.

Breakfast - blueberry wheats (hexb) and skimmed milk (hexa)

Lunch- subway club salad bowl with sweet onion - (2 syns)

Dinner - not had yet but making SW potato salad, baked chicken breast, broccoli and sweet corn

Snacks - red grapefruit, carrot sticks, pineapple

Lots of water again and green tea

I hope u get a loss :) I weigh on q Saturday but reckon its will be a sts. I had a sneaky peak today and its sts. But I have had a takeaway this week and chocolate and wine so will have to be good next week.

Thanks so much, I managed to get 2lbs off this week :) Initially I was like "aw is that it!?" But hey ho a loss is a loss and so long as I'm heading in the right direction I don't mind. Plus it takes me into a new stone bracket :)

Aw STS isn't bad at all, especially if you've been a little naughty. You never know though you could be surprised by Wi I've my fingers crossed for you to get a loss! Sometimes the scales can surprise you ;)
 
2lb a week is a brilliant loss yet we always want more. The weight didnt come on over night after all.. we just need to be prpud of our selves for working hard and one day we will be skinnie minnies. We will do this!!!!

Im feeling very motivated today... can you tell haha. :)
 
Lol definitely Jojo! But that's awesome, it's always good when you get a boost of motivation :)

I'm all pleased with the loss now it's had time to sink in. Almost went out drinking tonight but decided against it lol, my will power would have just disappeared if I'd done that!
 
Im drinkinh tomorrow. Night out thats been planned for ages. Um just gonna dance lots and onky have one glass of wine. After that stick woth vodka diet coke. I hope any way. And deffo no pizza at the end of the night!!
