Hi All,

Anyone fancy doing a new challenge starting in Jan and ending in March? What do you think? Just feel I need to start planning ahead and get ready for the new year. My plan from now till xmas is to lose a couple of pounds take the pressure off myself and then really get back to basis in Jan. If you fancy joining me please post. At this time of year I think we all need support it's so hard to stay in control.

First weigh in w/c 2nd Jan
Last weigh in w/c 26th March

We could also do some pledges and post on here with how we are doing with the run up to xmas and over xmas :)

Any other ideas welcome
 
Count me in! I know I'm going to lose focus soon so I need something to keep me on track!
 
Sounds great count me in too! Got my first wi on thurs so keeping my fingers crossed!! I'm hoping to lose 20lbs by end of march. When hubby comes home for a weeks leave :)

I'm in!!!! I've already pledged 100% until Xmas then I need to work towards losing more weight for my next dress fitting ( bridesmaid for brothers wedding) which happens to be end of March/April time so this is perfect :)

Lots of great reasons for us to focus on plan, I just need the willpower now. But by end of march my hubby won't have saw me for 4 whole months so hoping to look fantastic xx

What a great suprise that will be for your hubby.
I am definitely up for this. We are starting a biggest losers type competition in work on the same day for three months so that will work out great.
I seriously need to get my fat a**e into gear, I am fed up of eating crap and being miserable for it!
WE WILL DO THIS
 
After a crappy couple of weeks (mainly me being lazy counting syns and drinking too much alcohol - god damn it!) I would like to join.

My best friend is getting married next year and she is using me as a motivator and food guru for her to lose a few pounds and I will be her bridesmaid so really need to up my game.

I don't want to put in anything over christmas, a nice STS and if I am lucky a loss but come new year I want to pound this weight out. 4 stone done, 6 to go and this is what I need!

So how much is everyone looking to lose in this space of time? Are you just going to do the eating or incorporate exercise? Xx

I have 2st to lose and there are 12 WI's so I would love to be well on my way to target by then. 16-20lbs is my target.

I will be exercising too. I run about 4k with my two terriers three times a week. I have been looking at the kettlebell swinging thread, and I am thinking of giving it a try. I just don't like the idea of having another item in the house that I don't use!!!
Are you working on diet and exercise??

I will be doing both food and body magic. I currently walk to and from work daily which is 22 mile a week (5 days, 2.2 mile each way) but it's not enough. Bought the 30 day shred DVD and looking into kettlebell swinging too. Oh and just started taking up badminton so hoping to do that once a week. Not sure when I will get time to see the OH ;)

I am happy with my loss so far - never thought I would lose this much! - but need to up it. I took a month off when I moved in august and haven't been back to class since so doing it from home. Although I may rejoin in January when finances are a bit more sound. I found that I wouldn't stray as much if I was having to pay for it!

Not sure how much I could realistically lose in that time - 2lbs a week, 12 WI, 24 total? But I want more!! :) xx

Wow you ate so motivated I'm exhausted reading about your exercise! I need to add in regular exervise but I really struggle to logo ate myself although I do enjoy it when I am doing it! I'm aiming for 2 stone over Jan-march I think.

Good luck ladies. I had a major wobble tonight!! Not good I'm afraid, after doing so well all week and wi looming tomorrow I had a huge family fall out which resulted in me eating 12 ferrero Roche 42 bloody syns! Best of it was I didn't enjoy them they aren't something I'd go out and buy so why why why!!!
Oh well new day tomorrow back on plan no more distractions hopefully

Fantastic :) lets all keep posting and updating each other on how we are doing. So nice that we all have each other whoop whoop. Drank far too much vodka last night and out again tomorrow aaarrrgghhhh at this rate I will be sick of the demon drink before Xmas even arrives lol lol planning to do 100% days Sunday thru to Wed x that's my pledge for this week ate loads of crap today!!! WE CAN DO IT !!!!!!!!!

I managed to lose 2.5lb I'm a bit panicky about next week incase it all catches up on me but I'll be happy with a maintain x

Well it's my birthday tomorrow and my boyfriend is going be buying some wine and possibly JD for tomorrow night and a yummy pizza. Got a couple of Girlies over so just going to be happy with a STS up till Xmas.

Someone else birthday in the office on Sunday and he bought in sausage rolls, egg bite, pretzels etc. I had a bit but not too much ;)

Hows your week going everyone?

I'm doing ok... it's in the back of my mind everytime I reach for a chocolate lol. Its my SW party tomorrow so Im guessing Ive put about 2lbs on. Trying to stay in control but everything is so tempting. Good luck this week and remember whatever weight we are that first week in Jan it will be fine because we never need to see the scales say that weight again!
 
I've had 3 poorly kids, meals out shopping beaks of lattes and just haven't managed to stick to it at all this week so I'm hoping any gains are small hopefully less than the 2.5lb I lost last week xx

I have been ill since Sunday and currently dying on my sofa. Food has been half good, half bad to be honest. Anything I can keep down or in is a bonus :( a STS would be lovely but not sure what it will be.

Just watching Delia's classic Christmas.... How old am I?!

Evening all. Well I list 2.5lbs this week and got a stone off before Christmas. Aiming to be good up to Christmas eve evening, but did go out for dinner and gave in to cheesecake and feel crap about it. I have also had a few snacky things I shouldn't have had. Why does Christmas have to include loads of food! Anyway gonna try and be 100% tomorrow. I need to get into that bridesmaid dress in March! X
