    It's all gone wrong

    Iv been sticking to the plan since I started just over a week ago and been loving it. Iv mentioned before that I am type one diabetic. I don't know what happened last night but I had a low sugar and it was one where I needed a quick fix. I literally feel sick at what I ate. Half a chocolate snowman, 2 of these awful Cadbury cream egg biscuits and loads of cereal. I'm horrified at what damage I have done to my weight loss. I'm going to try to have no syns for the rest of the week and see if I still lose on Sunday. I stupidly got on the scales this morning and the two pound I lost is showing again.
    Devastated. I felt sick from the chocolate too and realised after a week with no chocolate, biscuits etc I do not miss it at all.

    Don't be so hard on yourself. If you keep to low syns for the rest of the week, one bad day isn't going to do much harm. You'll possibly still have a loss come Sunday. The gain you're showing this morning isn't a true reflection, as it's dealing with the extra food still in your system.

    DON'T PANIC.
    It seems very unlikely to me that what you describe would lead to a genuine 2lb gain.
    Have you counted the syns in the stuff you ate? I always try to do this even after the event. It helps with being able to predict/adjust in the future.
    I have often had off-days in a week, going up to say 90 syns or more, and if I stick to plan the rest of the week and maybe cut down on syns very slightly, can still lose a lb. Maybe I'm lucky but I reckon the plan is designed to allow for a few blips, and until you get very close to target there will be a little leeway.

    AIMS:

    Into the 12s
    Regain my 0.5 stone award

    Don't gain more than 3lb at Christmas (Only 1.5lb gained!)
    Into the 11s for good!
    Halfway to healthy BMI (11st12)
    Club 10
    1.5st gone
    Lose weight on holiday (Lost 0.5lb by climbing a load of mountains to make up for all the wine, phew!)
    Half a stone to go to healthy BMI
    2st gone phew finally!
    Into the 10s next week!
    Healthy BMI (10st10) soon, but definitely before I go to Spain in June!

    As already said, thats not a true reflection of your weight- which is why SW doesnt promote daily/serial weighing. Stick to the plan as you were doing it, especially if you were enjoying it and you will still see a difference. This is the plan where you dont have to wear a straight jacket and restrict yourself. One of my favourite sayings from my consultant is "one bad meal does not a week ruin"

    So pick your chin up, embrace the plan and throw out the biscuits

    i totally agree with the ladies what u have eaten doesn't sound like a two pound gain!! scale hopin is not a good idea either huni, so no more steppin on them scales until WI day on sunday!!

    This is the first chance I have had to log on.. Can't sleep so perfect opportunity really! Thank you again for such supportive comments 😊

    Day was ok slimming world wise. Stuck to it, 5 syns so not too bad. Because I have been upset I was tempted by the biscuits at work a few times. But willpower kicked in luckily.

    As for argument. Basically very long story but his mum is living with us and it's very challenging. She's nice enough but two woman in a house..mummy's boy... Well you can imagine. I flipped thismorning because I took the morning off and was going to clean the house. He comes up when I am getting ready to say that his mum is up and am I still going to do the cleaning, I say yes I will just do it round her. Noooo I can't do that, I'm told I will have to wait till I get home (at 8pm after working late and going to gym) I flipped my lid and basically said I can't do it anymore and I'm looking for somewhere else to live.. So all is not great x

    I also agree what you ate doesn't sound like it would cause a 2lb gain. I'm a type 1 diabetic too and when I hypo I raid the fridge and cupboards, it's survival instinct that kicks in. Also when I first started SW I was told not to count syns for treating hypos because it's medical and not something that we can avoid no matter how tight our control is.
