Hello everyone.....

Does anyone know if there are any alternatives to Morrisons eat smart diet pork sausages????? I generally shop at Tesco or Asda.....

hi what about the quorn ones they are quite nice once you get used to them

yeah but they dont taste like real sausages...... I wondered if there was a meat alternative like where you can use supermarket own branded cereal instead of regular cereal......ah well never mind - ill have to do some research into a morrisons..... thanks!

My favourite low syn sausages are the bowyers 5% fat, they can be a little dry, but they are great in a casserole and only 1 syn each. All the major supermarkets used to stock these, now I can only find them in asda and have to make a special trip and stock up, grrr!!

Oh you should try the M&S low fat sausages 1/2 a syn (not free I know) each but they are lovely and not a grain of rice to be seen

I had some of the bowyers sausages in my freezer since I started the sw plan and haven't had them as wasn't sure they would be very nice....until this morning and they were really not bad at all!
Will be having them again soon!

I like the Weight Watchers ones at 0.5syns each

I seem to have gone off sausages since living in Oz, where they are awful, but there is a recipe in the new sw mag I am going to try, they look good. Judging by the recipe the sausages are free, but the sauce that comes wih them is 1/2 a syn on EE.

They seem easy enough, fingers crossed.

Bowyers are okay but i found the rice a bit weird.
But after seeing on here about the Morrison ones i made a special trip at weekend to get some, i tried them tonight and they are yummy.
Just like normal sausages.
I have also tried the Joe's ones which you can order online and i didnt mind these but i found they tasted better cold rather than hot.
Please dont think i a sausage fanatic, its just the family really like good sausages xx
