Chessington- Rain and rides for fat birds!

Well, my son has his birthday on Sunday. He has special needs and is agrophobic BUT if you can get him out of the house to a place like this, once he is there he's often pretty good if he can keep on top of his anxiety.He is adamant he wants to go to Chessington on Sunday. I saw the weather and tried to talk him into Sat but he's totally not moving from going on his actual birthday.

Anyone been in the rain? Tips please!

Also, I'm 18 stone, will I get in the rides or will it be a struggle, honest answers please. He likes all but the scariest rides and of course always wants to go on with me!!!
