So tomorrow I begin my journey into the unknown world of Slimming World, I am both excited and apprehensive.
Firstly I will tell you a little about myself;
I am a 24 year old girl from Scotland. I am still with my high school sweetheart and I enjoy food. Yes I enjoy every bite. What I do not enjoy is the feeling of guilt I sometimes endure after binging on bad foods and the way I have been feeling of late (fat and sluggish). In 2011 I joined weight watchers and lost 1 stone and 5lbs which I have gained back (then some). However, I feel the weight watchers plan was not long term enough for me (my opinion, I know it works for others). I just feel there is no way you can point your food forever, that could become depressing and obsessive (again, in my opinion). So I have decided, from sound advice from people I trust and looking a little into the plan, Slimming World Groups may be the way forward for me!
I am so so so so excited to get started! I have literally been looking at SW recipes and forums all week. I have been eating healthy just recently but I am easily swayed and find it easy to fall off the wagon if there is no element of support.
I will be using this post to post my food diary and possibly pictures of anything exciting I manage to cook.
Looking forward to hearing from you all and I will post about my first group meeting on Friday morning (assuming the office is quiet).
