*******JANUARY FITNESS CHALLENGE*******

I did get over the 4 :D only just by 0.05 of a mile! Also did a KB core workout. Have 3 more days when I'd usually run before the end of the month. Can I complete the just over 10 miles left to my target?! We'll see what the weather & my legs think!


Erryn - 13 x sprints/runs, 12 x PT sessions, 4 x walks - 3 x sprint/runs done, 3 PT sessions done
AliceLouise - Make sure to do a workout every day, even if it is a small one, Beat some of my high scores on the wii fit, go for a run/jog (Asthma permitting)
GrumpySpacePrincess - (5 miles) every day in January - 17 days done so far
SaraSlimmer - Resist the bus and walk to and from work every day (4 miles), Swim once per week, 2 gym sessions each week, one big walk at the weekend (7+ miles)
SJB - Run 40 miles in January plus 20+ sessions of Kettlebells - So far 29.2/40 miles & 17/20 KB workouts
LittleHistorian - barbell workout every day (except Sundays) at least 30 minutes if possible, Start my weights off low but definitely add to it little by little, No more excuses, Eat clean, Get the Wii Fit out & do some hula hooping
 
Pretty much sticking to this, but the snow's meant to start falling at home time today so the bus might be required! Been pretty much sticking to everything else though, and have finally completed couch to 5k on the treadmill at the gym (tried and failed so many times before).

Hi ladies - sorry for the absence. I've been a bit depressed about everything and sulking. My diet has gone out the window as has my training as my trainer said on Thursday that she can no longer train me as she just isn't qualified enough to deal with my injury, so that means it's back to the drawing board for me.

I have to now be able to self motivate. I'm going to go back to my old challenge of focusing on burning calories rather than specific training goals. I was hoping to do lots of walking but the weather has been rubbish and I just haven't been able to motivate myself to get on the spin bike. *sigh*

I see a specialist tomorrow and will find out what my options are, whether I will need surgery or whether she'll be able to help without it. I've just booked another flight to Australia for October (this time to the East coast - Sydney - where I've never been before), so I now have that as a goal to work towards. I'll be starting/joining a February challenge based on new goals if anyone else is up for it?

I've managed to pull myself back on track with my diet today and need to just focus on one day at a time at the moment.

Aw Erryn, I'm sorry things have been so rough for you. :( The trip to Australia sounds great, though. Good luck with the specialist tomorrow. xx

I'd definitely be up for a February challenge! I'm doing well enough on the walking, but have let my weightlifting slack a bit, so I want to jumpstart that again.
 
Sorry things been so rough Erryn. I know if I was told I could run I'd be gutted. Hopefully the specialist will have some suggestions. I love Australia and thats such a fab thing to have to aim for. I'm off to florida about the same time. So also motivated to feel fit & fab by October.

I managed 3.8 miles this morning. Only 4 miles to hit my target but think because of blooming snow & ice I may not get a chance to run again before end of month :(

Very happy to report ran 4.05 miles so hit my 40 miles in January target & did a KB core workout which means I got both of mine :D

Think will aim for same in Feb - which is actually a shorter month so is tougher?! Although the snow falling tonight might make running tomorrow a no go!!
