hi all
Going to have a go at this food diary malarkey!! Just a bit of an introduction first so bear with me!!
I'm 48 and work part time as a medical receptionist in a very busy city hospital outpatient department. Although my role is administrative, I do a lot of walking and lifting (medical notes etc) in my job, so it can get very physical at times ( blesssed notes and the bags we shufty them about in!!)
I live with my 85 year old mother who's diabetic with failing eyesight (she has macular degeneration and cataracts in both eyes wet amd in left eye and dry amd in right, they treated her as far as possible but don't want to touch the cataracts as it will set it off again (mac degeneration). I'm also starting a psychology degree with the open university this week!!)
I've been back on sw since 14th September (my third time on sw) and doing ok so far, 6lbs off in my first week (yippee!!) but only 1.76lbs off last week, still it's a loss not a gain!! I do try and plan as much as possible!! I tend to use all my syns most days, on what, rather depends on what I'm feeling, sometimes it's extra milk or bread, though tbh I've not had much bread since restarting sw. Activity wise, I have a Fitbit and it tells me I do 4-5 miles a day walking which isn't bad i suppose! I used to swim regularly but don't seem to find the time these days!! I've got various bits of home gym equipment, need to use that more often really!!
