Hey all!!
I will apologise in advance if my posts are pretty long-winded.... I find minimins very theraputic!
So I did Cambridge almost 4 years ago, after the birth of my first son. I lost around 4 st in 9 weeks and felt amazing!! I still had a good 2-3 st to loose, but lost motivation and although I didn't gain initially, i have now put it back on plus another stone and a half too!!! So I'm around 20.7 stone, gaining a whole 2 stone before I fell pregnant with my second son and a further 3 after.
I've had a pretty crazy stressful
Year. I own a Childcare business and last year expanded from preschool
To day nursery. I was also diagnosed with PND after having my second son.
To put it bluntly, I feel disgusting... I'm wearing size 22 clothes (trousers are beginning to feel tight) and I'm constantly uncomfortable. I have seriously contemplated weight loss surgery as I couldn't seem to get into the mindset. I had an appointment but had to reschedule the first time due to being unwell.. I then had to put it back again due to a death in the family, and I had my third consultation booked for today... Or so I thought. I went to the clinic today, and turns out I was a day late for my appointment. I was pretty devastated by this.. Crying like a baby on the phone to my hubby in the car park. He gave me some stern words and after getting off the phone and sat in my car thinking and smoking far too many cigarettes, I had a lightbulb moment... I don't need surgery... Well I don't need surgery to get started (still open to suggestion) but I do need motivation.. And magically it seemed to all come back to me.. So without even thinking, I phoned the local CDC and have booked to meet her on Friday, and will start CD again on Saturday... No time to waste!!!!!!!
I hope to get chatting to people on here to share experiences and mutual
Support. I hear second time is harder, but fingers crossed I can do this!!!
Good luck to you all on your weight loss journeys!!
