I spent most of last year eating primarily, shed nearly 4 stone and felt great! Then I decided to run a marathon, which I did, but it threw a curveball at my eating and I haven't yet recovered. I've gained a stone, and I'm drawing a line here. I'm doing Mark Sisson's 21 day challenge to get me properly back into clean (mostly primal) eating and I'm going to record my food diary here to make me accountable.
Day 1 - Saturday
B - 3 eggs scrambled in coconut oil, with spinach, red onion and some smoked salmon. Black coffee.
L - smoothie, made with Greek yoghurt, frozen raspberries and blueberries, half a pear, and a tsp of raw honey
S - coffee with cream and 1 tsp sugar (oops!), raw veg
T - sirloin steak with a large green salad with olives (dressed in olive oil and balsamic vinegar), followed by 2 sq dark chocolate, 10 macadamia nuts, small glass of red wine
Exercise - lots of walking, lots of time in the sun. fitbit says 16180 steps.
A positive start, maybe a little too much fruit but I want to carry on having one smoothie a day because they're convenient and cheap - I can only afford so much well-reared meat!
