My new way of eating!

Just had lunch, baby gem lettuce, rocket, tomato, carrot, red pepper, tuna and chicken! Stuffed!! Haha

Wow looks amazing ....watch your portions though Hun they say protein should be the palm of your hand x
 
Really?! Oh no! I have big hands! Can't really get away with that can I!

The bit I can't get my head around is if my protein is the palm of my hand then where does the fats come from?
 
I'm new to this myself to be honest but I did look up about portions on marks daily apple site ....I think fats are pretty unlimited and you get them from coconut oil, olive oil, nuts and the fat off meat if it's good quality meat !!!!

I'm out soon but when I get back I'll find the bit about portions and fat for you xxx

I hate saying things hope you didn't mind I just wouldnt want you to stall and then you think its not working xx

Oh it's ok don't worry, And no I don't mind at all, that's why I am posting on here so people can give me pointers

Just got back from an hours box fit class. I nearly died!

Dinner was green beans, gem lettuce, 2 poached eggs and a chicken breast! Was delicious however I am craving sweet things! Ooooh noooo
 
Fruit! You must eat fruit if you craving sweet things. It's fine to eat and will satisfy the sweet issue.
 
Thanks again for the info, just had a glass of water with fresh line squirted in! Was really refreshing!

I plan to go the butchers tomorrow, wanna stock up on sausages, burgers, and a few steaks maybe so what should I b asking him?

Any help appreciated
 
I get my coconut oil and milk from the health food shops. Watch out for special deals that come up at Holland and Barrett. Makes a big difference to price on the oil and it will last you ages.
 
You want free range preferably grass fed meat (but the best quality you can afford) sausages and burgers I don't personally bother with but if they're 100% meat with no added grains or nasties I'm sure your fine ...I've just never eaten them x

Oil & coconut milk I get either from tesco or the health food shop ...was using kara coconut milk but not sure it's ideal as its got stuff added , just bought a tin of coconut milk from the health food shop though free of additives and trying to get used to that x
 
Thanks for the replies again, I have some coconut milk I got from morrisons in a can, is there anything that shouldn't be in the ingredients?

Breakfast today was 3 pieces of bacon and 2 fried eggs and forthe first time in a few days coffee and cream! ( I would normally have 4/5 cups of coffee a day)

I do feel good at the moment, I jumped on the scale this morning and I have lost 3 1/2 lb since Monday! I just hope that my cravings don't take over at the weekend!
 
Considering a protein shake for lunch, I have a low carb protein mix and some raspberries and strawberries to throw in the mix, will help my body recover from the training better I imagine too? Any thoughts?
 
So for lunch I had the protein shake with a few berries thrown in mixed with coconut milk instea of water. Was good! Had left over chicken breast from last night also..

So last night I had a rump steak for tea along with some peppers, mushrooms & carrots. It was delicious!

Today saw me rise early and complete the CrossFit foundation course! Man that was fun but hard work!

On my return I had bacon and eggs followed by a protien shake with strawberries and raspberries blitzed in.

We are having a BBQ for tea, went to the butchers and bought some sausages and burgers. Going to eat it with roasted squash, carrots and salad! Yum!
 
Sounds a good day I've downloaded a crossfit app on my phone but I'm confused ...food sounds amazing x
