So a bit about me and the journey so far:

Im turning 31 on Sunday :) I weigh at present 16st 3.5lb (my biggest was 16st 12.5lb)

I am waiting to be formerly diagnosed due to long waiting lists not been done yet but for now i am calling it what my Gp thinks it is as Rheumatoid arthritis/Lupus and and spondylitis. I also have recently found out I have a fused spine. I cant walk very far due to pain in feet and swellings/ nodules plus I have a limp due to this. I am on steroids at present, plus amatryptaline , naproxin, tramadol, lanzoprasol, beta blockers, orlistat and other painkillers etc...
I have had to give up my vomunteering work where I helped lead a team in offering a parent and toddler group /support through our church as I cant physically do it at the moment which is sad but I know its for the best at the moment. I will still be volunteering with less physical tasks and roles though which is exciting.

I am married to a very understanding man who is very helpful and supportive and he works nights which means he sleeps during the day, we have two boys aged 11 & 4 both of which are at school as of this week :) Our oldest son has Autism/ADHD and ODD so we have a lot of challenges with his behaviour physically and emotionally.

9 years ago I was a size 12-14 roughly 11st then I started to get ill, food became my comfort and over the years the weight piled on, i have lost over a stone in the past only to put it and more back on and have tried Sw, WW, Slimfast and other plans but am sticking to SW as its the easiest for me and doing the Extra Easy plan.

I am on Orlistat to help now so am hoping it will kickstart my weight loss.

I lost 1.5lb last week and was happy with that as i had just started steroids and was told by my GP I may gain weight.

Feeling excited, passionate and a bit scared at the same time about this fresh start as have failed so many times but I really feel this time it will be different especially knowing I need to do it to help my spine etc...

Yesterday diary -

Breakfast - muller light yoghurt, grapes, satsuma
Lunch - Sw quiche, salad, 2 syns salad cream light
Dinner - sw chips, chicken, salad, baked beans, 2 syns salad cream light
Snacks- muller light, 2 x apples, banana, red grapes,
HEa - skimmed milk in tea
HEb - warbutons thins wholemeal, chicken, salad, 2 syns salad cream light

Food diary -

Breakfast - muller light, apple, red grapes
Lunch - jacket spud, salad, chicken bacon mayo (8 syns)
Dinner - savoury rice, cajun chicken breast, salad
HEa - milk
HEb - wholemeal bread
Synd - salad cream light, flora light (7syns)

Snacks - satsumas, grapes, banana
 
Really yearning for chocolate today lol x going to go to bed before I do any food damage!!! Lol x
 
Friday -

Breakfast - toast x 2, 2x poached egg, bacon, mushrooms (4syns marg)
Lunch - fruit, ww greek yoghurt,
Dinner - sw wedges, 2 x boiled eggs, salad, 2 syns salad cream light
Snacks - fruit, 40 cal hot chocolate (2stns) low fat Squirty cream (? Syns)



Struggling with pain today in my left leg, any walking seems to aggravate it and hurts even when I'm resting and from walking with s limp my hips and back are playing up now too, but still sticking to plan whoop!

X :) waiting to hear about a fast track possibility to rheumatology specialist as they don't appear to have received my gps referral 13 weeks ago!!!??? Hopefully get a call on Monday x i really do need help now as I cant even walk and driving makes it worse now too x but thinking happy thoughts as its my birthday on Sunday whoop!!!! :) and determined NO CAKE!!!! ;) lol
 
Breakfast - 2 x boiled egss, satsuma, red grapes, muller light
Lunch - sw chips, roasted carrots and salad, 2 syns salad cream light
Dinner - chips & cheese (flexi syns as birthday :) not gonna feel guilty cos i enjoyed every mouthful and am not having a birthday cake this year lol

Snacks - fruit, heartleys jelly pot 0.5syn,

Pain was terrible jn foot today, very tender to touch and im feeling extremely tired, had to have a nap cos pain was so bad but hubby took me out this eve for a bit for birthday and had lovely time :) xx

Thanks maria x i actually did have a much more painfree day today well my ankle was less painful and i had the best lay in as my hubby got up with our boys so i could lay in :) stuck to plan all day too with a lamb roast that my hubby cooked :) lovely relaxed day :) xx

Had a lovely birthday, lots of rest, a yummy roast lamb SW way spent with my gorgeous hubby, boys and family x

Breakfast - (none due to a lovely lay in lol)
Lunch - egg sandwich (HEb & frylight) 2 syns flora light
Dinner - roast lamb, vedge, sw roast tats, mint sauce?syns? Gravy 3 syns
Snacks - red grapes, muller light, satsuma, 2 x strepsils? Syns? Tea (milk HEa) sugar free squash
 
Having a bad pain day today but still sticking to plan. Can hardly walk so hoping sw will help me lose with out exercise as literally only doing a few steps through the day to the car etc... Now. Saw a friend today who has lost 6lb in her first week of doing SW at home so thats encouraging x

still not had call from the gp's secretary about being fast tracked to rheumatologist. I could just cry with this pain I'm in and how much its restricting me. Had to drop out of all the things i enjoyed doing lately such as running a parent and toddler group and singing in church band (modern upbeat music) so im really bored! plus I'm having a bit of a tearful day as so frustrated!

Sorry if I sound like a moaning mertal but this is helping me get all my grrrrrrrrr!s out without going on at the hubby bless him lol x praying this pain will go eventually but worked out its been severe and nonstop for 29 days now and im getting rather fed up :(

Any how I have lots of friends around me and I have the ladies from my little private weigh in group at a friends house who are very encouraging! My husband looks after me well as he reminds me 'in sickness and in health' were in our wedding vows hehe love him loads x gp suggested i try doing something therapeutic in the evenings so I'm starting up my old hobby of making things and selling them on eBay :) it helps take my mind off pain a bit plus stops me wanting to eat loads :)

I make reward charms for children and jewellery plus mobile phone charms, fun kids zip pulls and anything else I make up along the way ;) xx i love beading too so collect all sorts of beads and design things with them :) x

Will let you know how I get on tomorrow :) x when is your weigh in day? Mine us usually a monday morning but we all agreed to Tuesday this week as our friend couldn't do today, so we get 8 days worth of loss instead of 7 lol :) (we weigh in at a friends house and encourage each other) i used to belong to a group a while ago but seem to do better with my friends in a smaller group :)

Well group was lovely today, just 7 of us but very encouraging :) we lost nearly a stone between us this week which is fab! Lots of good discussions and ideas and we also planned our Xmas lunch out :) So in 2 weeks I've lost 5lb which I'm really happy with! Determined next week i will reach the next stone bracket down! Quite excited! Worked out that there is 14 weeks to xmas so if i lost a comfortable 2lb each week i could be down by 2 stone by then and taking me to the lowest I've been in 5 years ! :) i have to do this ! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr eye of the tiger!!!! Lol ;)

Today
Breakfast - banana, 2x satsumas, apple

Lunch - leftover sw chilli, 1 x warbutons wholemeal thins (HEb) flora light 2syns

Dinner - cod parcels, sw chips, salad, balsamic vinegar, 4syns salad cream light

Snacks - grapes, hot choc/light Squirty cream - 5syns, tea/coffee (HEa) sugar free squash,

Thank you :) i was very pleased with that loss :) and been really good since too :) noticing my tops are a bit baggier already which is a great sign :) was pain free today too so its been a good day :) xx how are you Zafira? Xx
