I really hope there aren't 9 syns in the wraps as I made pizza with one for tea!
Homemade pizza
Wrap
Passata, chopped cherry tomatoes
55g pilgrims low fat cheese
Mushrooms, slice of ham
Sweet potato wedges
Salad bowl (leaves cucumber tomatoes)

Well done for doing the collecting for such a worthy cause, Cheryl. Hope everyone was generous. Good body magic too! :D

Just checked the Syns of various Warburton's Wraps for you:

Warburton's Half and Half Easy Roll Wraps, 38g each - 5.5 Syns each
Warburton's Newburn Bakehouse White Wraps, Gluten and Wheat Free, 60g each - 8 Syns each
Warburton's Soft White Easy Roll Wraps, 65g - 8 Syns each
Warburton's Wraps/Tortillas White - 9 Syns each

Hopefully, it's the 5.5 ones you had. Doesn't look like you've gone crazy with your Syns over the week anyway so I wouldn't worry too much. Hope you found something to tide you over until hubby came in. I'm the same in that respect. My OH is usually not in until nearly nine o'clock each night and it is hard not to nibble at the wrong thing. I always try to make sure the fruit bowl is packed with juicy fruit that I can snack on but it is difficult at times. :)

Weekends used to be full of high calorie meals, we regularly have pizza & chips for Saturday tea and a huge roast on a Sunday along with a few drinks. I then spent all week trying to pull the w/e weight gain back. So if I can tweek our usual meals to make them much more SW friendly I think I will make progress!

Other than having 2 wraps yesterday I think I managed ok with the SW pizza and sweet potato wedges, didn't feel deprived and was surprisingly satisfied! I had been and stocked up on fruit so I could have something if I was still hungry but didn't!

So now to Sunday, we usually have a late breakfast but then don't eat dinner til 6pm so I often end up snacking @4pm!

So while hubby has had his usual bacon and egg sarnie with a packet of crisps and a biscuit I have just had
Bacon 2x WW sausages (1syn)
Mushrooms and tinned tomatoes

Plenty of fruit to snack on later and will be making SW friendly roast for tea!

If I can start the next week exactly the same weight as I ended the last one that will certainly be a result!

Thanks Kathy, sadly it's a charity close to our hearts as my best friends husband died from Prostrate Cancer last year.

Sorry to hear that, Cheryl. I'm just glad it seems to be mentioned on the telly more than it used to be.

Good luck for next week. Sounds like you're really focussed. :)

Hi Kathy, increased awareness is the key, that and getting men to get their heads out of the sand!

I have a confession to make!

I am a serial scale hopper, but I know when and usually why fluctuations occur and generally its Spurs me on or I accept it and carry on.
But all last week my weight was up for no obvious reason, i kept telling myself there's no reason for this so it will come back round, it did dip on Thursday but then went back up on Friday (weigh in day) so as of Friday I am back where I started 3 weeks ago.

I have still been on plan (despite not posting) just been extra busy, I have maybe used more of my syns as opposed to hardly using any, it's really disheartening to be making a conscious effort to try and lose weight/eat more healthily and get nowhere!

Oh well, moan out of the way, I shall carry on, see if it comes back off this week!

Aww, good luck, Cheryl. It's so disappointing when that happens, isn't it? When I used to go to the group, a few years ago, there were people there who lost consistently, week after week and, there was me, sticking to it rigidly, sometimes losing, sometimes staying the same and sometimes, even gaining!!! There was just no reason. Even the Consultant couldn't say why.

Anyway, at least you now have the books so, hopefully, things will turn around for you and you will begin to see the scales moving in the right direction. Certainly hope so. :)

Kathy x
