Hi everyone,
As of today I am starting calorie counting. I have about 7-9 stone to lose so I know it's gonna take a while. I have been doing ww on and off for years, did well on it but then put all the weight back on.
I restarted this year and did do well when I stuck to it, but found that sometimes I was having to force myself to eat when I wasn't hungry, to use up all my points which surely isn't good.
For example I get 39pp per day, sometimes I'd be left with 14 pp and eat a massive bag of popcorn for 12pp even tho I wasn't hungry, or in the mood for it.
Where as it's things like that, unnecessary snacking, and big portions that I want to stop.
So I'm hoping that cal counting will help me to make healthier choices, snack less, control my portion sizes and lower my carb intake. I'll probably aim for the recommended carb allowance as that will still be a decrease for me coz I definitely go way over.
I have signed up to mfp today, do most people use that?
Anyway, just wanted to say hello!
