Sue's food journey to try and reverse diabetes

Well, took the plunge this morning and signed up for WW online so that I can point everything correctly. So if anyone needs anything checking please feel free to ask.

Breakfast
2 back bacon - 3 pps
2 small wholemeal bread - 3 pps
1 tbsp brown sauce - 0

snack
Banana

Lunch
Chicken casserole made with:
190g skinless chicken breast - 5 pps
100g new potatoes - 2 pps
25g red lentils - 2 pps
carrots - 0 pps
green beans - 0 pps
beef oxo cube - 0 pps

Snack
Strawberries and apple if needed

We can definitely do this. It's hard work though this dieting lol. Finding different things that are low in points is difficult as well. Think I need to get making free tomato soup. Need to get more tinned toms though before I can do that

16g Fluff, WW Greek Yogurts, Babybel Lights for 1pp Each.
Velvet Crunch, Quavers, Tangy Toms, Rice Krispies Cereal Bars, Coco Pops Cereal Bars, Time Outs, Caramel Wafers, French Fries, Milkybars for 2pp Each.
Rice Krispies Squares Bars, Freddos, Twirl, 2 Finger Kit Kats for 3pp Each.

Hi Serena - thanks for those ideas. I have to try and not have naughties because of the sugar content. Really struggling at the moment because for some reason I am constantly hungry, lol.

Have u tried the 0pp Soup? I found it really good before I could get my hunger under control! X
 
Hi sue, hope you are well, Menu looks fab! making me hungry lol x I am the same as serena I use soup sometimes to bridge a gap and also if I am hungry in the evening, As a rule I generally dont like to eat after late but if peckish soup is great xx

200g potato baked - 4
1 tin tuna - 1
1 tbsp full fat mayo - 3

Snack
Benefit bar - 2

Dinner
Fish pie (dont know how many points this is going to be as my son has decided to make it for me and him for dinner tonight, no-one else likes fish unless in breadcrumbs or batter, lol). He said he is putting basa and prawns in it but as long as I only have a bit of free veg should be ok. Still have 11 pps so hopefully this should be enough.

Extras - semi skimmed milk for tea - 2

Fish Pie sounds yummy! Do u know which sauce he will be making it with? 11pp sounds ok tho as the Ready Meal ones are normally quite low.x

Don't think those are too high in pp. 11pp should be fine as long as you keep you're portion sensible.x
