I think you're right about your mind being on it. I've joined and re-joined Weight Watchers a million times (not exaggerating - honest!) over the years and don't think I've ever lost more than 10lbs and each time you join you weigh more than the last time you joined.
I've never done SW before and joined last week, first WI last night and was really disappointed to only lose 2.5lb. I know it's off and not on but was really hoping for a massive loss in the first week that some seem to get. I will keep at it though and seem far more focused and determined than I have ever been on any other diet.
My motivation is my kids. I don't want to not do things with them while they are young (9 and 5) because I was overweight. These years with them are precious and don't want to waste them as I can't turn back time to do things I wish I had when they were younger!
Right, now I've got my moping about over with, onwards and downwards. Happy dieting and good luck to all.
