Bit of a long post ....
Hi All,
O god i feel as if i have written a diary introduction about a million times on this site....so i figured i should just go ahead and post in the silver members section!!
My dieting run down; 2012 starting weight 13st 3lb did Slim Fast and lost around 12lbs, then Slim and Save VLCD for a whopping 5 days, then onto Atkins but not really 100% and then onto my favourite diet the seefood diet.....i saw food and i ate it!!! (my seefood diet started end of Jan 2012)
2012 was a very stressful time for me, i am a little worry head!! Me and my OH starting the big journey to moving out eeeek!!! Not only moving out of home but BUYING our own home!! so literally from the minute we submitted our first application form (dec'11) to the minute i got those keys in my grubby little mitts (not really grubby!!) (on 31st August 2012....i could probably recall the exact time/what i was wearing/how i had my hair.....it was an important day to me). so 2012 for me consisted of from Feb - Aug me comfort eating to try and suppress the worry of the mortgage application etc and then from Aug up until now it consisted of eating to celebrate!!! RIDICULOUS!!!
So from meeting my bf in March 2010 until present i have put on roughly 3 stone....so a stone a year - not ideal! my partner of course has maintained his perfect 32inch waist and size small t-shirt and muscular frame......jealous much!!
This year i was so psyched up for doing Slim and Save again - i last 7 days 100% and lost 10lbs......i just couldn't do it anymore though....my lifestyle of living with bf etc just wasn't working out...no matter how much i wanted to lose the weight i just couldn't last on it....i ended up having a binge two weeks....i missed having meals in the evening with my bf....not the food but the time together!
I then decided that Atkins was the way forward, but tbh after thinking about it i kind of really just want to do a healthy eating plan but focused on being lower carbs.....i.e i could have the same dinner as other half but subtract the carbs....also this way it wont make it sooooo expensive! I want to get into the habbit of healthy eating and exercise. we have gym memberships at an amazing gym which is a golf club - beautiful settings and luckily two minutes from our doorstep!
So, here i am - for once in my life i am not going to do X, Y or Z diet i am just going to be SENSIBLE!!!! I know what works for me and what doesn't, i know i cant eat tonnes of chocolate or crisps and i know i cant have carb feasts ..... so i just need to learn to control myself!!!! I am also reading the Beck diet solution in a bid to change my way of thinking about food.

oooo btw ultimate goal is to be a size 8/10 (comfortably) by October 1st 2013 - as we are going on holiday with another couple to Turkey for ten days of relaxation....
