Its now the 10th June 2013 I have 47 days to lose 7lb ( In time for my Granddaughters big Fairy Party) its also the end of a very long journey that has span over 4 years.

Since 2009 I have been through quiet a lot of Challenging health issues and very challenging family life.

I have had 2 previous threads on Minimin's and they both did help a great deal and with out it I don't think I would of got as far as i have today, but this effort now will be my last as its a case of do it or resign my self to being a size 22 again, something that I can honestly say I deeply never want to feel or be again.

Once at 11st 7lb I feel I will be in a better place to maintain my Weight with confidence as I'm very worried right now that I could quiet easily go up again.

I started My Journey at 43 years of age at 16st 9lb and I'm now 47 at 12st 1lb.
Such a great difference can be made to my health over such a short length of time and I am quiet ashamed that I have allowed it to drag on so long.

What I hope to gain from this now is longer independence in old age, more so than a desirable figure for societies pressures.

GOAL Weight is 11st 7lb in 47 Days (My Granddaughters Birthday Celebration)

Weekly Rota
RIDE
15 miles a week minimum
Running where ever possible from bus stop to bus stop or up the shops.
STOP Bread, Sugar, Deserts and basic "you know that's really bad" food

Saw your post on Rainbow Rose's thread. Good luck with your last 1/2 off goal and congrats for sticking to it and dramatically improving your health. I'm 51, 5'4" and currently about 11 1/2 stone. I've been lingering in this zone for nearly two years (I regained from my goal of 9 1/2). Anyway, I'm rooting for you as that last bit is the hardest.
 
Hi Mel thankyou :) and yeap ive found this past zone a total pain i Was 12st 6lb for a year Gggrrrrr. Im now a very odd pear shape from rubbing hormone cream in my legs its made me the oddiest shape annoying shape and "much" bigger than i should be for 12st 1lb. Im praying it can come unstuck as ive stopped the cream. Obstacles i keep thinking of thqt stop me are daily back pain, to tired, and Cant be bothered. So they can all take a hike. I know i can do it as ive done it. Having a reason helps though have you got a future date to look forward too? xx

Not really and I don't really do well with deadlines or challenges. I went to Aqua Fit today for the first time in ages and that's a plus. I don't really seem to lose well (much less maintain) unless I'm doing fitness.
 
I think the thought of failure can be a big obstacle im sure i have that also as a black cloud.

I keep reminding myself that I've lost it all and maintained for some time in the past -- so I KNOW it can be done.
 
:):):):):):):):):) Nice One! im off out on the bike in a minute. 20 mins to do 3 miles just like last night. So Im doing the same steps as i did at the beginning slow and stealth like lol

All done 4 miles. Lettuce peas tin mackrel and coleslaw for tea... thats all i have got in the cupboards. Ive actually forgotten how to shop aswell and thats another obstacle i need to kick to the kerb ....update forgot i had a choclate in the freezer for littleone to make sweets. I only wanted it as i saw it on TV there was no way i would of had it otherwise Gggrrr.

Also scales are in the cupboard. Ive stood on them almost every morning for a year. So the wieght on my mind aline is just punishing myself every morning. I will wear the same clothes and find a wiegh machine away from home which is also how i started off and looked forward to the day with anticipation. :)

Sorry but your tea sounds yuck. But what can I say: DD's piano lesson was bumped to dinner time. DH had leftovers. I made DD chicken strips and potato wedges with vegetables. I had a bowl of cereal with fruit and 0% fat Greek yogurt.

I'll make meatballs for tonight. I'll have mine without sauce crumbled over steamed cauliflower with a S & S mushroom pasta or spaghetti for sauce.

Also scales are in the cupboard. Ive stood on them almost every morning for a year. So the wieght on my mind aline is just punishing myself every morning. I will wear the same clothes and find a wiegh machine away from home which is also how i started off and looked forward to the day with anticipation. :)

I haven't weighed in a few weeks. I need to join WW and be weighed by someone else.

Im always out to Mum or Grandaughter thats why im so blind sided.
Will be salads evrry where now thou as a safe bet.
Home made meatballs MMMmmmmm Cauliflower MMMmmm all sounds yummy.

Morning!

Meatballs today. Made a pot roast (beef, veg oven cooked). Had a friend coming here to scrapbook - our first weekly scrapbook work session. When well -- she got lots done.
 
Scrap booking ive never known what that is? Pot Roast sounds lovely. I didnt exercise yesterday and ate bad food and its when im with people i realy have to get stronger as im actually board of bad food so jm not even sure why im eating it??? Got Grandaughter today till tomorrow. So if i dont sort it out that will be 3 days wasted again. Not sure whats for tea as havent brought it yet lol. Have been up till 3 the last two nights cleaning rooms and drawers and moving bits about. Thinking i may cycle my 6 mile route today and grab littleone on way back its blowing a gail and raining wish now i took.advantage of yesterday! . :)

Scrapbooking is arranging photos and memorabilia into albums.
 
Aha got it now i think i did a jubilee one at school about 40 years ago was well chuffed. Had a scare today grandchild 2 is determined to say hello earlier than arrival date. May still appear just seeing what happens tonight. :)

Just had a water leak 8 hours ago but scan says ok. He was trying at 7 months but shes 8 now. Diets out the window again! So much choclate wuth minkey making sweets for dads day. Im having a me week next week so hope to make a dent in me a bit lol
 
Bad day wth food again with mum, but I now have a wipeboard on the wall grid by days 42 left. Had a chat with Mum who im a carer for and shes going to support me by not eating deserts etc with me its just to help me get back into a routine. I used to be able to sit while someone ate anything, but now i join in too with out batting an eyelid. I have 9.miles riding to do tomorrow to get the 15 miles weekly goal in
 
Food not toooo bad. 5 miles cycled so ive done 13 out of 15 a week.I forgot i did an extra couple at the start of the week.
Ive been wrestling with Mums cistern flush all day and the cistern is now on the floor awaiting my return.
I Did a light coat of painting and a short sprint between bus stops.

I predict i will be 12st 2.5 to 3lb at wieghing any more and i will be devistated. Nite all :)
