Diary of a hidden thin girl

Hello there fellow slimmers...

I have just got back onto the Slimming World merry go round....yet again, the reason being is
1. My clothes are rather tight and I am refusing to go up another size (20)
2. I love hiking with the BF and I'm beginning to struggle with anything over 4 miles
3. I am attending a wedding in August 14 and want to wear something light rather than cover up
4. I have booked a night in a hotel for the BF birthday in Sep 14 and would love to look sxy....
5. Gosh I could go on....but you know the reasons, they're probably the same as yours....

Anyway I know Slimming World works I've done it before, but its changed with the new Extra Easy....I'm 3 days into the plan and so far I don't feel deprived of anything which is encouraging. Not sure how i'll feel after a week...I know about the syns for any 'treat food' but the problem is if I start to eat my guilty pleasures then that's it...doomed... so I have decided to cut out those treats and replace them with extra fast speedy foods....

The past 3 days I seem to have done nothing but eat, comment to BF last night after eating the following

super free food
MTushrooms
banana
Pear
Carrots
Broccoli
Pineapple

free foods
Baked beans in tom sauce
egg {frylight}
Fat Free yogurt
Syn free chips {left over from Sat}
Chicken cooked in steam bag
Syn free roast potatoes
3x fruit tea

Healthy Extras
250ml Semi Milk
2x400g wholemeal bread

I feel like I've not stopped eating all day...which actually I hadn't. Any way today is also going well, I think to help myself I will blog my foods on here just to avoid cheating myself.

I welcome any advice, recipes, ideas and friends

good luck on your journey

Hi denise42,

hope its ok if I subscribe to your diary.

Its amazing what you can actually eat on slimming world as long as you follow the rules.

Hopefullu we can get ideas and support on getting to goal :)

Well good morning world,

last night I spent hours going through recipes on here with some fantastic foods to make. Quite a few people were mentioning 'magic porridge' as on e lady called it....so I thought how difficult can that be.

I already had my measured porridge oats (at the BF's today so being prepared) I added a muller pineapple and something yogurt - I've thrown the tub away - mixed it and hey presto this morning I have the results and I'm quite surprised its really good and refreshing.

This morning I'll be in a meeting so will have to sort out something to keep me away from the biccies, then this afternoon I'm working from the BF's and he doesn't keep sweetie things in the house, I have my stash of fruit to keep me going anyway.

will be back later with my food diary.

Hi Denise,

magic porridge is lush. Been having it the past week. ive tweaked it a bit after reading somewhere that you can make it with couscous instead lol :) That way can save the healthy extra B for something else. Not sure if this is cheating though, but it still tasted good :)Goo

Good luck with today!

On track day 6

Morning campers,

just having my one and only coffee which I am really enjoying, saying that I said to BF last night I think I'm getting a little addicted to the fruit tea from Aldi as I had two in the space of an hour....thing is though I'm having disturbed sleep now I keep needing the loo in the night...but on a positive all them toxins leaving my body.

Me an the BF were talking last night and I have to say I love that man, he just reminded me that He loves ME whether I'm fat, thin or in between, He said as long as I'm happy thats all he wants. Awww... No really I could of cried with love for him right there and then. My XHusb is the one that damaged me by always calling me fat an ugly - I was a size 16 after having our son....go figure that one out, just years later I realise he was the ugly one....on the inside.

Any how the man I am now with is amazing, he even asked how do I want him to support me, do I want him strict, lenient, or a bit in between? I said be understanding cos I will fall down at some point, pick me up when I need it, cook my food slimming world way, a snatch any chocolate or sweets off me lol.

It's great to have someone who supports you, I'm finding this website a life line, spending that much time on here I'm not eating...whats not to like about that xx

Saturday 17.5.14

woke up to a gorgeous sunny day here in preston, had breakfast and then headded of to pick up BF's mum on route. We arrived in Howarth at 10am and had a walk around the village for an hour or so...it's the 1940's weekend, Christine and I dressed up last year which was fun but we were planning a walk afterwards in Wycoller at the penoptican so unless we'd hired land army girl outfits, tea dresses weren't very practical. Th ewalk was only 2 and a bit miles along the river and then up through a couple of fields and back to the penoptican. When we got back we ate the picnic which was majority SW foods.

todays food is

Monday 19.5.14 Day 10

Ok today has gone down well, it could have been disastrous on 2 occasions firstly I got to lunchtime and realised that I'd forgotten my salad dressing for my homemade chicken salad, so the chicken was claggy and unfortunately my salad had wilted a little so really didn't enjoy, Thankfully I'd not taken any money into work so I couldn't go on a scavenge in the Mess. i didn't starve as I had melon and a yogurt. Secondly I was starving when I got in from work and again thankfully my son and his mates had eaten all the biscuits over the weekend so again I was saved.

so all in all its been a good day, will ensure I don't forget anything tomorrow....fresh salad bought.

todays food then

super free food
strawberries
melon
red peppers
some salad
onion
mushrooms

free food
chicken breast
pork loin casseroled with above veg and spices
basmati rice
