Hi :D

I tried Cambridge for a while and Dukan etc but epically failed on all of them. Been to the docs after gaining 5 stone in a year and my last option suggested to me was Xenical! So here I am.

Current weight: 18st 7lbs (Im 5'7)
Ideal Weight: 11st

Im not giving myself a deadline, just want to do it slowly and sensibly
Ideally ready to be bikini ready for next summer!

So started today.

One question I have, do you take them 3 times a day regardless or only if your meal contains fat?

Brekkie this morning was one piece of wholemeal toast with small spread of margarine and vegemite and 1 fat free blueberry yoghurt.
Im now off to the gym :eek:)

It's better if you take them with all your meals BUT you must follow the rules or accidents happen eek !

All items of food must be 5g or less per 100g
Max fat per day is 45g which is generally spread out over 3 meals so max fat per meal is 15g.. But if you don't eat all of the 45g that's ok less is better :)

For example the butter/ marg on your toast will be very high in fat per 100g so that's out side of the rules .. Even if your only using a little it still enough to cause you to have orange in the loo or to have a accident .. So not a good idea :)

There are plenty of things within the rules - like weight watches meals inc pizza and McCain chips etc ready meals from the supermarket

Eat lean cuts of meat - chicken, turkey, extra lean beef mince, be good to yourself bacon from sainsbury, most people are ok with eggs.,

Cook with fry light spray oil or use water, grill, bake using tin foil parcels

You may get bloated or constipated - drink loads of water and I used aloe vera juice - cranberry flavour to help from Heath food shop, aloe vera also helps with digestive problems too.
 
ah thanks for the advice hun! didnt even register that marge/butter would have so much fat lol
weight watcher/ready meals will be perfect for me as I work shifts which sends my eating patterns all over the place
im also generally trying to cut down on dairy and caffeine so hopefully see some results. Am resisting getting on the scales until I get weighed by my doc on the 24th, that will have been 13 days on the tablets and joined a gym and been 3 times this week.
Whats the average weight loss per week expected? Im hoping a lot seeing as im massive to start with!

Hi ladies! I've just started minimins today! I'm starting slimming world on Wednesday And I was prescribed xenical yesterday. Im a bit unsure as to where to start! I had a friends birthday meal today so was a bit scared to start today! So tomorrow is the plan. If I start tomorrow will I get side effects or should I wait until Wednesday so everything is through my system? I'm a bit nervous about starting these tablets! Any advice is welcomed.
