    I get a bit lightheaded and have had a few days were I felt really rubbish - which makes you want to throw the towel in, but try to get through those couple of hours and the feeling will pass.

    Think the advice is to follow a low GI. I've also thought of an Atkins type plan- but without the bad fats- stick to lean meat and avoid carbs - lots of veg??????? That's probably quite similar to a low GI anyway. Could murder a bacon sarnie though.

    Markos. It takes great will power. Sometimes I really struggle. I miss food! Two more weeks TFR and then refeed before maintenance. God give me the strength to see it through. Looking forward to a glass of Shiraz and a hot meal.

    Had a fennel tea today, which was palatable enough. Go supermarket shopping on a Saturday, so peppermint tea is top of my list. Tummy cramps today and I weigh 6lb heavier this afternoon than I did this morning-what's that all about? :confused:

    Good luck. I started recently and I'm on day 18. Started with a similar weight as yours and so far I have lost about 15lbs. ;-) its hard work, but seeing the results fast keeps you motivated. Going to do the TFR for 2 more weeks, then refeed nd maintenance.

    Just tried the chocolate shake hot - poo yuck! NEVER AGAIN! It is so much tastier cold with crushed ice. In future to get warm I will drink black coffee (which I also dislike) Even the chicken soup is better! :eek:
