I paid for it myself so had no real waiting time. I flew to Birmingham on Sunday , had the op on Monday , and flew home on Tuesday. I was far more straight forward than I had thought and nothing to worry about at all. I'm feeling fine now 1 week later, just tired which is to be expected...

Hi I'm new to this site also. I had my Gastric Band Op last Monday 01/06/09 and everything went very well.Thankfully it was all straight forward , and no real pain. Good luck with yours
